It is time for 343 to feel the power of the Halo community and all players unite under on cause. Everyone has either been affected by the specs code whether it is you not getting the code or a friend not getting the code. If all Halo players would unite and either take the game back or stop playing it for a week to show our displeasure i’m sure 343 would get these codes out ALOT quicker. So this is my call to arms brothers (and sisters) Stop playing this game until 343 owns up to their mistake and makes things right within the community and compensates the community as a whole. Tell all of your friends of this protest and lets get things fixed!
Mhm… First thing, I’m sorry for all who didn’t got any code. I think more players that got it but had it double should give it away to who doesn’t have.
Btw, I would remember everyone that this thing of Specialization Codes was just an offer, they never said “you must get the code by December”. If you got it, nice, if not, it’s a shame from 343, but you should stop complaining. When you bought the SE you already knowed you would have finished waiting for the other specializations, so there is nothing new.
Or do what I do. KEEP PLAYING THE GAME. Get better, have fun, be social, play with friends. I was bitter for a few days too but then I realized there’s no point in not playing, you are only punishing yourself and if you truly like this game, the specializations will be useful to you a long ways into the future and waiting shouldn’t be that bad. Play campaign, work on commendations(Dont tell me it wastes XP like its some kind of expendable commodity, they’re mostly for fun/progression), play customs, play with friends.
Theres a lot more to this game than specializations…
Yeah but what is the fun in challenging yourself to complete challenges if you are level capped when you should have the specializations to level with?

Do you understand that you recive nothing important from specializations? it’s a game, the objective is to play it to have fun, not to unlock everything. When you play only to complete the game, means you are only wasting your time
The specializations do give you advantages though. Operator lets you take more damage while in vehicles. engineer lets you see ordnance drops early. Its not like the specializations do nothing to help. All this post is about is why sell us a game with a promise that if you do all this you will get this and then not do it. And if you are so almighty why didn’t you give away your code since “specializations don’t matter and its all about the fun of the game”?

This. And also because I don’t want to do those commendations and challenges when I SHOULD be able to level and then when I finally get specializations later not being able to redo the commendations for the experience. That just annoys me.
Play a different way until they are unlocked for everyone, I never got my code either. Don’t drive around as much, play something with no ordnance, and as I said in my other post there’s LOTS of other game modes. CAMPAIGN, SPARTANS OPS(still has them but less competitive), CUSTOMS, MAKE THEATER CLIPS, BUILD A FORGE MAP. People put WAY too much bearing on specializations. They’re 1/100th of the game(Random statistics out my -Yoink- FTW)
I totally understand the frustration of constantly checking an empty email for something that should be there, but if you truly like the game, you will get to experience these specializations eventually. Until then, indulge in other portions of the game.

Did you buy the Standard Edition? Did you know only the LE was going to have all Specializations? If you did, then stop complaining. You already knowed you was going to miss them, so live with it. If you didn’t know, shame on you, next time check what are you going to buy.

No I’m sorry I didn’t “knowed” anything. I knew what I was told and I was told that I would receive these specializations by completing certain tasks in which I did.

I’d be more receptive to this if 343i had been more informative. We didn’t know it would cause people to stop earning points to rank up or how long people would have to wait.
It was also a problem that 343i underestimated demand for the LE so you couldn’t buy at launch or pre-order it in the last two or three weeks. I was actually going to pre-order it but everyone was sold out by the time I decided to do that.
Also why don’t you give up your code to someone else. Not me, who doesn’t have one if all of the specializations mean so little to you. Mr. Knowed-it-all

I never saw anything in the SE that explained what you’d be giving up in terms of specializations to not get the LE. 343i never said how long people would have to wait, never explained there was a good chance your rank progress would be capped, and they didn’t have enough copies of the LE to satisfy demand, so your argument doesn’t really hold up.
Its not that people didn’t see what the game was about. Its that we trusted what 343 said and believed that they would do as they said. But good try Mr. Knowed-it-all
But as previously stated it is time for some sort of protest. We must stand together and stop these injustices that 343 has thrust upon us. It time for us the gamers to take back the control.
