How do you feel about these? These include the ODST skin you unlocked for completing Endure, the golden CE weapon skins, the H3 Arctic Skin, and now the H4 DMR and BR skins you unlock for reaching ranks 15 and 25 in H4 Squad Battle?
Personally, I don’t mind the fact that they include rewards that are difficult to obtain. My problem is that these are only available for a limited time. Sometimes I do wish that I had unlimited time to dedicate to Halo, but I don’t. In fact, there are times where my job requires me to go months without being able to touch my gaming PC or Xbox. Then there’s the fact that the ranking system is broken. I don’t feel like 343 is in such a great place with the fanbase right now where they can flaunt challenges like this. Maybe it’s just me, but they’re further alienating themselves from me with the mismanagement of MCC and the deception and lack of transparency behind the Infinite delay.

They have said the seasonal challenges will come back around at some point so if you miss it now you will get another shot at them. Also does it really matter if you don’t get a particular cosmetic? I didn’t get endure and doesn’t bother me one bit. Definitely not going to go for rank 25 in squad battle as getting to 15 was tough enough. I think it’s fine to have cosmetics that can be really tough to get, even in a some what limited time, hence the word challenge.
I personally don’t like time limited challenges. It leaves an annoying, un-accomplished presence in the back of my mind if I don’t complete them (or until I do), especially when it’s a part of something I do often such as play Halo.

No it wasn’t. While I don’t think enough time was given for those who didn’t have the free time to grind, we definitely had more than a week.
