Prisoner! It’s just so much more beautiful to look at! 2nd is Beaver creek, and 3rd isn’t one they remade. Bungie made it, they call it Hemmorrage now. I think that it will do well with anniversary slayer with no bloom.

Prisoner made a huge improvment! Loved it then, love it now.
all the maps look great
So much variety and I love it.
I want to play Timberland so badly!. Nov 15th can’t get here fast enough.
My only gripe is they made it smaller. Hopefully the second version of it will see it in it’s full glory.
I’ve never played Halo PC, but the environment of Timberlands looks amazing. Not only is it pleasing to the eyes, but it looks fun to play on. We’ve never fought in an actual forest before.

Yeah! And Prisoner actually has snow flakes falling from the window 
I just hope Timberland isn’t as inaccurate to the original as the flythrough and behind-the-scenes trailer make it look. For one thing, I don’t think Timberland needed to be 20% smaller (though I haven’t played it in Reach, so I can’t argue with that yet). Also, the map seems to be incredibly clogged with trees and foliage now. The original had that, but most of the cover admittedly consisted of the hills. They were primary cover, trees were secondary. From what I’ve seen of the remake, trees have been made primary and hills have been literally shrunken, becoming secondary. If you’ve played the original Timberland, you know that if what I say is true, that’s a huge layout change for the map.
Additionally, I know they wanted to give the map an epic feel, but I’m not sure how I feel about opening up the bottom half. Timberland is traditionally contained in a kind of “box”, with hills on four sides keeping you in the play area. In the Reach version, the hills on one side of the map have been eliminated to give players a view of the epic Forerunner city, but also allowing them to (quite easily) fall to their death. This is also kind of a huge layout change, and another one I just feel can’t be fixed with Forge. Addendum: The stream leading down the map has been given a completely different, more cover-based structure, as it is now more sunken, and there are actually tunnels and land bridges over it at certain places. It also falls off the map at its end. Again, unless the land bridges are Forge-based additions and the falling off the map can be prevented, I don’t see how this section will emulate Combat Evolved play.
They also seem to have added more buildings and platforms for defensive turrets. These were, again, not in the original. I hope they’re Forge items and part of Ridgeline, not Timberland. I also hope 343 Industries and Certain Affinity can somehow close off that big gaping lack of wall in the bottom half in the classic variant at the least. Really, the bottom line is that I love this map very much. It’s one of my favorite Halo PC maps, and I know it pretty well. But just judging by the videos we’ve gotten to view (and not judging by thorough exploration or gameplay), it’s the only map of the pack whose layout I think looks massively changed from the original in ways that can’t be fixed. Again, I could be entirely mistaken with much of this post. But I thought I would post my thoughts on it to just get them out in the open.

I never played PC either… but from what I see. The maps are completely AMAZING! I think Halo is in good hands.

I really love the new skyboxes of every new map. Prisoner has the best and most epic looking skybox of any Reach map.
While they all look just amazing, I really hope they didn’t screw them up like they did the defiant map pack. I want my background noises. Fortunatly, it would take some serious work to make the flow in the remakes as bad as it was in the defiant maps.
Installation 04 is my favorite so far.
