Doubt it. If anything, I think that Battle Canyon’s tunnels might lead to bigger parts of the map, similar to sandbox. I’m not getting my hopes up though.

Timberland would be better due to the large forerunner structures.

Damnation outside of the box also because they haven’t toured that map yet
Ridgeline because it looks as though the coast down below could be playable however the city does not

Please no more forerunner objects…Highlands was a great start with non forerunner objects.
I just hope that Forge in Halo 4 has more options. I REALLY want to be able to make maps either day or NIGHT time. As well atmospheric conditions like rain, fog or snow would be great. Though snow might be harder to do as it wouldn’t accumulate on the ground.
As well, I hope we will be able to group things so we can move a large structure instead of having to re-piece it together somewhere else.
And the biggest perhaps is a terrain editor. Man, I really want a completely FLAT map. If we were able to raise or lower terrain to a certain point that would really make for some interesting maps.
As far as Timberland goes, I’m cool with it if it’s the new Forgeworld. I just want more NEW stuff. Once I hit Inheritor I kind of got bored with Reach a bit. I’m Onyx in all Campaign but one, all in FF but two. I don’t like going into MM without a full team or I’d be further along in commendations there. Reach just isn’t a challenge for me anymore though. So I’m really looking for to more maps, achievements, and hopefully a new forgeworld and with more features that we can explore.

Could not have said it better myself. Although I would also really like a “snap-to” feature in order to line up pieces more accurately and an “undo” feature.
(Also, really nice to see guys from RM on here…I’m friends with a few of you on Live and always have a blast with them. Lyfe and Ironman to be specific.)
Thanks Drax and I totally agree. A snap to feature would be awesome and undo would be immensely helpful.
As well, how about forging in Firefight, which I assume will carry over into Halo 4 (I sure hope it does)?
On another note, we desperately need a SPACE map. If not in Reach, then PLEASE make one for Halo 4. One that we can finally have space encounters. I’d love to see Sabres being pitted against each other or against Space Banshees and Seraphs.
The map would be a default blank map with perhaps maybe one thing in the middle as an indicator of exact middle. If anything that would be a global position spot that could not be deleted, however would not be seen in actual games, just seen in forge?
Oh and WOOT, finally got a new computer and can access Silverlight. Now I can catch up on all of those older vids I’ve been missing since I had a 5 year old MAC.
I seriously doubt it. Generally when you see beautiful, expansive environments outside of the map bounds, their unplayable. Think Assembly in Halo 3.
