They look so cool, but they will inevitably be overused.
I honestly think it is a great idea. All in all I just don’t think the skins on that video looked good enough for the real deal in the hi-definition game.

I love this idea!
I remember in the Reach beta, the armor did have camo patterns on it, or at least the wrists did. It’d be cool to have this as an option for your armor in multiplayer. I don’t like looking at solid blue and solid red all the time, and the patterns would be really refreshing.
they kinda cool, animal skins might work, might not work, i cant really warm to the idea myself

It’s so detrimental right? OMG it would so break the game and add nothing to the customization… What would you add if I may ask? I can play the OMG stupid game too.
These are amazing, although I think there should be some line type patterns on it and maybe even some arrows and roman numerals on visors and things like that, taking customization to another level.
MFROGS, stop trolling with blank space. The camo idea is pretty cool, but not if it went overboard.

No, the animal skins are gimmick-ey like armor effects in Reach. I can live with camo is some areas and that is fairly discrete.
What would I add? A full color palette. An armory with at least sixty unique helmets and thousands of individual pieces (like knives, cases, extra “ammo”) that you can place anywhere on your spartan. This would diminish the need for separate chests, wrists and utilities.
But then again, that is also a great leap for 343i and I’m not sure if entirely possible.
