Tier 3 under 5 minutes

Has anybody managed to get to tier 3 in under 5 minutes and if so what Strategy do you use ?

Wowie, that would be fast. legofan3225 played Isabel a lot last season, he might know how to tech fast.

Well I have gotten a scarab/Condor around 6:45 and that takes 1-2 min of being in tier 3 to pull off. That was with Forge.

After patch I think sub 4:30 tier 3 is possible.

Possible but very risky, supply pad , gen,gen upgrade gen, supply, supply, mini base, upgrade gen, generator,…:ok_hand:Tech 3 5-5:30 mins. Depends on how much collecting your 2 marines or 3 grunt do…

You can get to tier 3 rather quick but you will be vulnerable, sort of a high risk high reward strategy. Just collect power and capture power nodes well pooling your power. Build a few turrets and core infantry for defense and capturing power nodes. Tier 2 upgrade your power supply generators. Have atleast 3 power generators. What you need in tier 3 so quickly is beyond me though…

It can be done. In team games, it can be even faster with pooled resources, but as stated before, it is very risky. If the enemy catches on, then it could be game over.

Me and my friends were messing around with an objective to get a condor out as soon as possible. Me and another player pumped all the supplies and power we could to our third and he was able to get the condor at the 6:10 mark I believe. It was definitely lower than 7 minutes. But it took a couple tries as it left us vulnerable to attack.

You need Two supply pads and 3 Generators. Usually I buy 2 more grunts and use them to collect and then get map power points. I usually hit tier 3 in about 5:00-5:30. It is extremely risky, but the pay off is massive. The trick to upgrading units while producing them is to find a mini base and build the one unit building you need and only use it for upgrades. I haven’t really found a way to offset the power income to equal out.

If you get those big energy crates sure. Expecting a reliable sub 6:20-30 is bad.
