When do you guys think is good time to be pushing out tier 2 units? (if you only push slightly early game) when do you think you might be behind your enemy and what is your reason, and how much is early tier 2 effective against late tier 1 ?

So deciding when to tech can be tricky. It really comes down to a game by game basis. There isn’t exactly a rule for when to tech and when to stay. Try to ask yourself what’s the best move I can make. How much power did he spend for his army? How much should I spend to counter it? Or if he isn’t playing a heavy tier 1 game then questions like: can I do some damage to slow down his eco? Should I grab power nodes/ mini bases? Can I end the game right now? Ultimately you have to go with your gut and read your opponent. Just focus on being cost effective to stay ahead and things will usually work out.
