I will keep this short.
I often have a hard time forging maps on the Halo 5: Guardians map “Tidal”. The map is perfect for forge, but there is one persistent problem.
The sound effects.
It isn’t the fact that there are effects for walking through or jumping in the water, but those sound effects manifest when you are above the water line. I can walk on a 10x10x5 block that is above the water line and STILL hear that splashing effect.
Is there a solution to this?
Will there be a solution to this?

Don’t let the floor piece you are using touch the water, it is what I do. You have to use smaller pieces to make a floor that hovers above the water
Yeah. This occurs when the piece of geometry is touching the water. So if you have want to have a little river in your map you just have to put up with it normally
So I just came across this issue and went searching for a way to fix it.
It does appear to be a bug, and you can fix it by not having a piece of geometry touching the water.
This obviously is not always possible, so the way I worked around it was to put an invisible blocker just slightly above the area that I don’t want the splash sounds.
This is not perfect as you can waste a ton of your object budget doing this. So a mix of not touching the water where suitable and invis blockers in the other areas seems to be the best fix.
Good luck.
I hope so, I’d love to see your map.
