When ever I’m in close quarters and I thrust away from an enemy and they melee me as I’m thrusting. I’m thinking if a Spartan can melee lunge quicker than they can thrust is the thruster pack even that good when in reality if your feet are on the ground you should be able to evade, barrel role, or do some thing quicker than what the thrusters can do.
I forgot about this… my thruster button on my controller has been broken for about 3 months.
I couldn’t imagine playing H5 without thrusters… You’re putting yourself at a significant disadvantage without it.
At least for Arena, this is true.
I like it. There have been quite a few times that it has saved my butt from certain frag death. It has also been the bane of my existence when I accidentally spartan charge only to be murdered. I know they are two different things but it seems like I always Spartan Charge when I don’t want to and has ended in my death more than a kill.
I like the thrust. I kind of wish they would bring back the jet pack. That’s the only ability I ever really used.
Playing older halo games really make you wish you got thrusters back. It is really that good

I believe if we had other abilities the thruster would be better to make it stand out. I think because it is the only thing we have is the reason for it being weaker.
My issue is what’s the point in the thruster if you can be in mid thrust and some one can leap towards you quicker than you thrust.
