I didnt see it in the button customization of the livestream. I’m afraid its gone and will be sad because it’s the one thing they added in 5 that i really like.
Aside from Sprint, which is significantly nerfed, Slide, Clamber, and Zoom (again, also nerfed/reworked), all of the other Halo 5 spartan abilities are gone.
I’d say it’s an overall positive. Sprint doesn’t look game-breaking anymore as it’s a pretty small speed boost, so it looks mostly just useful for allowing you to slide. And clamber also appears a bit reworked, or at least the maps seem designed in a way that clambering will be useful a lot less often.
From the preview of settings they showed, it seems thruster will come back. Only in the form of equipment this time. Definitely won’t be a permanent ability.
Boo. I have played thousands of hours of Halo since Day 3 of Halo CE and I lived the thrust. I never realized how slow Halo is until I played 5 and I can’t go back and play the MCC. Chief just seems like he’s running with a a lead suit of armor on. This is going to take some adjusting.

Halo 3 admittedly feels very sluggish after playing Halo 5, but I love playing them both. Each game has many different strengths.

I saw that too, but I’m wondering if the “Thruster” that is being referred to is simply a placeholder name for the Repulsor. As stated, this build is about 2-3 months old which would place it before E3.

The Repulsor is probably the reflector ability. That’s what repulsor means.
