Hey everyone! I think I may have found some quick footage I the thruster pack in use.

1:15, the group of Spartans beneath the pelican!
The player seems to slide( or thrust )forward at rapid pace, kind of like evade from Reach.
So my guess, is that when you activate it whilst jumping you’ll get some extra height on top of your normally jump.
What is the spartan doing at 1:16? Is he sliding and sparks coming out? What is that?

I believe it’s the thruster pack in use, it works like evade from Reach when the player is on the groud, but If the player is airborne then it propels them higher into the air
I see what you mean, very hard to tell though.
I was actually just thinking - why would they bother to change the name from “Jetpack” to “thruster pack” if they were the same thing?
Jetpack completely ruins maps, negates map movement and map control and is ultimately a game breaking armour ability in every meaning of the sense. I use the thing nearly all the time because most of the time it’s your best option. I sincerely hope that 343 have realised this and that the thruster pack - if jetpack like at all - is a very watered down version.

If you go to 0:08 you can see a spartan jet packing, but you don’t see him from the ground

But bad news people. On 8-9 seconds, there is a guy with a jetpack 
I consider the Thrusterpack to be act much like a nerfed Evade, if that’s the jetpack I will be highly skeptical. Hoping we don’t see it in matchmaking as it breaks all flow…
