I’m sure some of you here are concerned about this little ‘‘problem’’ we have at our hands… alright? good.
So for all of you who has used the so called ‘‘Thruster Pack’’ you should’ve noticed how freakin useless that ability is compared to Evade in reach. And not to mention the Campaign in Halo 4. <— especially that. So I personally think that the Thruster Pack is useless beyond garbage and needs a buff. Please empty out your thoughts about this in this thread aswell to get their attention alittle if you know what I mean.
Needs to be made mid-way between where it is now and the Flood thruster to be of any use to me or anyone. If anyone here thinks its useful, you’ve only been going against people who play with their butt cheeks.
I agree. If anything physics should apply to it, that way it will be more effective in low gravity. I say make it just under twice as powerful as well, that way I can use it for something.
Agreed completely. I loved Evade in Reach, and the idea of a Thruster Pack that let you Evade in mid air, in any direction… the potential was huge. But when you actually use the thing, it’s a joke. I mean, you can pick an AA that lets you fly, or see through walls, or set up an impregnable shield… or you can do a pathetic excuse of a roll which doesn’t even cover as much ground as you’d have made if you’d Sprinted. Not to mention the animation leaves you basically standing still for the last half. Really poor implementation by 343.
I love the Thruster Pack. Helps me get in to cover real fast and allows me to pick up weapons in areas that are full of enemies. It just takes so getting used to and actually coming up with strategies to use it for.

I’ve actually had some successes with the thrusterpack. It is hardly OP but it has come in handy enough times for me that I continue to use it.
The only thing is that without a perfect connection, that invincibility window is too small to use effectively in MM. You could time the invincibility PERFECTLY, but a small amount of lag means you miss the window and die anyway.
It could use any of the following:
A) More than ONE use per charge
B) Double the invincibility window
C) Propel me twice the distance
D) Propel me upward so I can do trick jumps
Thruster Pack is garbage. I don’t care if some MLG person uses it, it’s a piece of crap. This thing barely moves you far enough to get into cover even if you’re standing right next to said cover.
It’s barely faster than if you would side step normally.
Stop being a -Yoink-. If there’s some magic DOUBLE TAP LEFT BUMPER AND IT MAKES YOU FLY ACROSS THE MAP trick that I’m missing, then please speak up. Otherwise it’s a piece of -Yoink-.
It’s complete garbage. It needs to be what it is in the Campaign for MP and it needs to be flood levels in Spartan Ops. Total waste of spartan points and a load out in it’s current state. Expect Balance Babies and Apologists who enjoy it’s current fart like range to tell you otherwise.

SatansReverence, I am with you on this one. But why even try? These kids are gonna -Yoink- about anything that isn’t OP and are gonna -Yoink- about the DMR that is (according to them) OP. They can argue their point when they have some skill. Until then, dont even bother with them.
