First off, I’d like to congratulate 343 for the fantastic decision that it was to bring Halo 5’s Forge and Custom Games to PC. Bravo, Bravo!
Of course, with that said, I’m going to start complaining.
I’ve noticed that no matter where you map the key for thrusters, its always a gigantic pain to press it and at least one of the WASD keys at the same time. If Alt works, then that might be alright, but I don’t know so I’m still going to suggest this.
Why not allow thrusters to be activated by double tapping one of the WASD keys? If you double tap W, you would thrust forward; A and you would thrust left; and so one and so forth. This could eliminate the problem of having to dislocate the majority of the joints in your hand to get a slight boost for half a second in the game. One problem I do see with this is that people wouldn’t be able to thrust in a direction such as northeast or northwest. Perhaps, for example, you could double tap W and A at the same time to thrust northeast? I don’t know, any and all suggestions are welcome.
I think it would be a good option, but I wouldn’t expect them to implement it. Do they even read and reply to these forum posts? The biggest problem with the game is the FOV. Anyhow, I would probably suggest to try mapping the thruster to a button on your mouse maybe… if you have one by your thumb.

Yeah, some responses from 343 would be well appreciated.
It is very awkward to be playing the game so close with the FOV so high. Everything seems cramped. Hopefully enough people complain and 343 listen.
Unfortunately, I do not have a gaming mouse with buttons on the side, just an average Logitech. I’m sure that many people are like me, so the implementation of double tapping seems to be logical. It would also show that 343 is listening and taking ideas, which can only help their rep at this point.
