I noticed in the settings of the halo infinite flight there was a key bind to “equip thruster” has 343 mentioned this yet

I believe it is an equipment item. That option would be for campaign. I imagine there will be a multiplayer pickup.

It definitely looks to be an equipment pickup similar to the grapple hook.
