Lets hear some opinions. I’m in the middle of changing my button layout and can’t decide where the best place for thrust is. Where do you like to have it?
Pick whatever button allows you to keep your thumb on your aiming stick. If you have a controller with paddles, you have more options.
You should go for fishstick, pashooter or recon
I used all of them and i must admit that are all good set ups.
Depends how much you find yourself using thrust. If you use it a lot, a convenient spot might be LB but you could also get comfortable with claw and put it on X, which would leave you with Bumper Jumper and Helljumper. It’s really up to personal preference.
In my opinion the best place for it is the right bumper since I’m a noob and use the default layout lol.
wait . . . the default layout has thrust on RB? I thought it was on the B button . . .
Anyways to answer your question I use thrust on x because jump is more important to have somewhere not on the a/b/x/y buttons (I have jump as LB), and don’t use paddles so I don’t have a ton of options for button placement

Yes it’s b on the default laybut I thought he was talking about spartan charge when he said thrust. M bad lol

I got one of those powerA controllers with the 2 buttons on the back. I decided to roll with Pashooter and map jump and sprint to the back. I wasn’t sure if using the trigger finger for thrust on the right bumper would be a detriment. Seems to be working ok since there’s about a second where you can’t shoot while thrusting.
