So far myself and a lot of players I know have no problem with these abilities, and many like them (myself included). So Halo community do you like these abilities, and do you want them in Halo 6 and other future titles?
Thrust and ground pound are fine. I don’t use ground pound enough to care about it and I think thrust is a okay addition to the game. The real problem is Spartan charge.
Spartan charge is the only bad one IMO.
There all fine but I feel like Spartan charge is to much in the movement category.
Thruster packs are by and large the best gameplay mechanic added to the Halo series in a long time. It adds a lot of depth and can be used in myriad ways.
Stabilizer is fine, though I wish instead of having to scope you only hold the A button (like a double jump sort of thing), so then you can hover with or without aiming. Otherwise this is a cool addition.
I’m not even going to talk about sprint. Slide feels a bit unnecessary, though it doesn’t hurt the game in any way so I’m fine with its inclusion. Spartan Charge, on the other hand, needs a nerf.
Ground pound is a good mechanic that’s useful for killing players, pulling off difficult jumps in parkour maps, and looking cool. It’s a bit gimmicky, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I think they should keep it.
Smart-scope is just a zoom mechanic with a new superficial animation. I like it being integrated in every weapon. Sure, some are pointless like the Needler, but it’s still nice to have.
Those are by brief thoughts on the Spartan Abilities.

What this guy said. The concept of Spartan Charge is perfectly fine, but it’s so damn easy to use.
I like the variable thrust throws into gun fights.
The only thing I don’t like about ground pound is it can still 1 shot a person from a very low height.
I am fine with all Spartan Abilities besides Spartan Charge… I would like to see it reimplemented in H6 in the form of Thruster melee’s. You thrust at the enemy and melee attack with the forward momentum to inflict higher melee damage, possibly with knock-back…
It would eliminate the gimmicky feel of the mechanic, it would be a more skillful maneuver to execute, and it would be even more risk/reward-based due to having to choose whether to use your Thruster Pack defensively or offensively, and have to deal with the cool-down afterwards.
The controversial mechanic is charge. Most people seem to like Thruster Evade and Ground Pound. Slide is a non issue really.

I have an even better idea…just remove it from the game!!! Nobody but noobs think that Spartan charge is a good idea.

It definitely would. It would be less reactionary. You wouldnt have to worry about accidentally charging.

There should be nothing that even resembles Spartan charge in the next Halo.

Thrust is a good idea. Though im sure there is probably a better way to balance it.
Ground pound is good as is.
All the abilities are good except for sprint.
Ground pound in my opinion is the best implemented mechanic in Halo 5. It is a very skill demanding ability which requires predicting your opponent’s movements and sacrificing the high ground. The opponent has an equal opportunity to counter the attack by hearing the easily distinguishable charge up sound and moving accordingly.
I like the concept of thrust, but I feel it nullifies base movement speed and the effectiveness of strafes without thrust.
