Probably because people would have complained if it hadn’t been?
Treat it as though its an unranked game mode.

maybe because a possiable 5V8 is legitimately an issue?? as the other kid said. just treat is as an unranked playlist which in my opinion is what it should have been in the first place -.-
And this is why BTB is normally regarded as a social playlist (Even tho it is ranked)
IF Arena has a quitter problem BTB will have a larger one when games end 8 v 6 or 5 or 3…

And social playlists are probably going to be here in December or January
That’s what social BTB will be for, there is absolutely no reason I should be thrown in a game down 30 kills and rank down for it.

i call everyone a kid. espically over the internet where there is no indication of true age etc etc. don’t take offence to that as i didn’t mean any, and even if the full suite should come out next year. it’s way too late at that point! BTB should have kicked of the countdown to social.

they should have done what Call Of Duty did… if you join a game late… (and loss) that game gets thrown out. your W/L is not affected (and in halo’s case) your rank is not negatively affected. but your stats are still tracked.

This is exactly what I was thinking, stats and REQ should count but if you end up losing then it doesn’t count as a loss. I see no foul in that.
JIP-ing is what I believe to be one of the worst features to be put into the Halos since 4. It ruins the experience, being thrown into a game losing by a significant margin, like you say. I can’t tell how many times it happened in halo 4. Led to me leaving immediately if I was JIP-ed. Not very heroic of me, but I don’t want to have to pick up pieces and carry teams to victory, not to mention how hard that can be sometimes.
That said, it seems to be happening less in Halo 5, especially in ranked area games, Warzone it does but with a bit of teamwork those are much easier to get back on track.
