SO I was playing a MW3 match thinking of Halo 4 as usual and I ran our of ammo and was too far to melee. So I threw a Knife that saved my life in a situation where melee would be impossible.
Wouldn’t it be Awesome to be able to throw small Energy Blade(knifes)at your enemy in Halo 4???
If your enemy has a shield, it will deplete on contact.If your shield is already depleted then an instant kill shall be rewarded. This would be a nice idea and can save you if your good at throwing a knife.
Sorry, but I have a problem with a Spartan throwing a knife, even if it’s like some plasma variant. It just wouldn’t suit well with me.

Nope. Honestly a horrible idea. Halo has already started building it’s sandbox with other games elements to the point where it’s feeling less and less like the true core of what made it great.
It doesn’t need to be Halo Call of Warfare Modern Battle Elite Gears 4.
How is it supposed to require less skill than using a plasma grenade to support its weakness?

A Spartan throwing-knife? That’s like saying you need to add the energy sword to Call of Duty…
I don’t this would suit Halo at all. In Halo CE, they were going to add a knife instead of the ability to melee, thank God that had been changed and you could then melee with all weapons instead of adding a knife. What would Halo be like now if that change hadn’t been made? I don’t think knives or throwing knives suit the Halo gameplay style in general.

You do know semtex is real? Right? And that the US military (Specifically Navy SEALs) and the SAS use it on a farily regular basis?

And this is when I know that some of the gaming in this generation has failed us… Semtex… Halo… sticky grenade…

I personally think this would be a great addition to halo gameplay wise, it might not be realistic but I think it would fit in halo very well.
Throwing knives are retarted.
You dont throw a freakin melee weapon, thats what bullets and grenades are for. With the space taken up by a throwing knife, you could carry ANOTHER CLIP.
Stop trying to get things in the game changed, it’s not going to happen.
