I love halo 5 but I legit cannot take the Spartan charge anymore, :it’s all people do Sprint around and charge into ppl. Its just not fun anymore, ppl running blindly str8 at you soaking up bullets then smashing into you is not halo. Halo is supposed to be about gun skill, teamwork and map control now just sprinting headlong into gunfights is a completely viable tactic. Go back to any other halo title and try to walk str8 into enemy gunfire and get a melee kill, don’t worry I’ll wait… it doesn’t happen. I think halo 5 is Awesome except for this broken mechanic and everyone is abusing it especially in break out. 343 please address the issue so we can enjoy the game again

Customs is where its at. Go to this customs matchmaking lobby and find a match of good old customs. I agree, MM is irritating as -Yoink-, but customs is something I could play all day. In fact, im in a lobby right now if youre interested
I’d say about 50% of the time someone spartan charges me I still manage to kill them first, its not that overpowered. Maybe you should work on your reaction speed?
It’s annoying when players use it and fail, I got killed in slayer in a 1v1 but I had the player down to zero shields and very little health I imagine, when I’m dead I see a team mate fail with a charge on this player and end up dead too, that’s annoying, all he had to do was shoot, even if he clipped his big toe, it was a certain kill, but noooooo, we’ll try look cool then look like the fool.

That’s fine when you see it coming but lots of times it’s when you come around a corner or something and ppl just panic melee, skilled players don’t Sprint around corners you stop and get your gun ready to shoot Spartan charge rewards bad players also lot of times I shoot a few times and melee but you gotta time it just right which can be hard to do, or when you’ve just finished a gun fight with another player and your weak, or if it comes from behind you have almost zero chance, there’s just to many variables to take into account and post it all here but most of the time the person who is sprinting has the upper hand and that’s not how it should be
It’s auto aim is too high, and so is the range. What is worse is when they sprint and charge behind you, they don’t show up on radar and the distance is covered quickly.
Possible Solution: shoot at them before they spartan charge towards you and always listen and beware of your surroundings for that sprinting Spartan. You can hear them coming at you; at least when there isn’t too much going on.
