First I would like to say that this game is awesome, I played for a few minutes yesterday just to check out my settings and my spartan (that’s where my problem lies but we’ll get back to that in a second), so I played a solo custom and that 60FPS/1080P though lol. The game looked fantastic played so smooth and H2A’s Vistas looked incredible!
Now here comes my issues with this game thus far.
#1. Armor Customization - I hate the fact that we get a set armor piece. One thing I liked about Halo was that not everyone would look like me or vise versa. I wanted to wipe off the dust from my old armor customization I had back in H2/H3 and put it back on but unfortunately that was not possible. I was only able to pick a armor set and was not able to change each individual armor piece like the previous halos. I’m not sure if I have to unlock something first (seems unlikely) but hopefully if 343i can please put the customization feature back into this game, I’d be one happy person!
#2 Emblem Customization - I’ve noticed your emblem only appears on your name plate correctly but not in-game. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or maybe I didn’t give it time to update but that really bothers me. I liked to have my own emblem show both outside the game and within the game;whether it be me driving, using a machine gun, or watching my dead body as I await my Respawn.
#3 Forge - Now H2A forge is fantastic but it seemed like Halo 3’s forge remained the same. Now those who forged on Halo 3, you all know how difficult it was to even merge items (You pretty much had to glitch the game and even doing that required a extensive amount of effort). H2As Forge is amazing but I was hoping that forge would be a unified thing where the most updated forge mode would take place of the old forge mode. I love forging on H3 maps and I plan on bringing back infection maps like (close the door,Fat kid, Ice cream man, ghost busters,etc), so if this could happen for H3 I would truly be excited when forging!
343i, you’ve done a phenomenal job bringing back my child-hood favorite game and I commend you on not touching a lot of things but if you would be so kind and implement my 3 concerns “I” would be happy. I suggest making a poll system where the community gets to vote so not only I will be happy but maybe those who feel the same as I do when it comes to my 3 points of concern can vote to get it changed.
