A Walk in The Woods and Under Cover of Night are my Jam… Give me that -Yoink!- bass guitar every game.
343 should consider offering Martin to rejoin the team since he was betrayed by Bungie. But, I have a feeling 343 isn’t too fond of him.
Well… they do get rid of his easter eggs that are in the games, save for Siege of Madrigal easter eggs.
They replace the bungie-dev .jpg easter eggs with Frank O’Connor for some reason -
- Halo 3 ODST Marty Easter Egg for example - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDLjiLMh3mg
Ohhhh I never knew they cut out his easter eggs? Across all games?? LOL so… Siege of Madrigal is the piano song right? Yeah every time I hear that theme I think of this Halo Custom Edition map that had a secret room with nothing but nude photos of women and they had the song on loop. So naturally I ALWAYS think of that map room.
It started off in Halo CE and it can be found in all the Bungie games at some point or another. Standing in a spot plays the cue.
Yes I remember H3’s at the top left of that spire thing. So you didn’t answer… did they remove Martins eggs from all games or just specific ones? I would like more information with this. I also looked for inside information regarding his departure from Bungie but I couldn’t find anything except “They had differences”.
They removed ones with his imagery. His Siege of Madrigal is still in all the MCC games that they put it in.
Also, the opposite side of that structure on the other spire plays a separate audio easter egg.
Another thing they removed for some reason was the police lights on the NMPD Police Cars in Halo 3 ODST.
Can’t be offending criminals in this day and age.
I heard Poorage farts in his porridge.
Relax guys, it’s just a beta. They barely have over 700 employees. They’re extremely understaffed compared to Bungie was when they made CE to Reach, and they have such a tiny budget of half a billion dollars. Just give them a few years to iron out the bugs. They’re doing the best they can.
700 employees?
Where did you get that odd number?
Oh yah… it’s just a beta lets all take it easy on them they’re working hard and providing for their families. Who cares if they charge $60 for just a campaign that isn’t finished and is a baron wasteland. You’re right… we’re too hard on them, poor babies.
700 is actually an even number

From their Twitter. 750 Employees.
It was sarcasm
Sarcasm? How dare you be sarcastic when regarding this amazing flawless best in the series game. Shame on you.
True. Halo Infinite is definitely in the top 10 Halo games. I’d even say it’s the best Halo game released in the last 5 years.
750 employees… as stated on their twitter… and yet on their twitter they are also saying that they cannot have one guy moved to fix something that fans want fixed (cosmetic that is mis-aligned) and they are referencing that they are having staffing issues?
750 Employees probably made Halo Infinite. But you have to stay in the dev-studio for 6 months in order to get your names put in the credits for your work. So how many of those 750 CURRENTLY work at the studio?
I can tell you that employee turn-over tends to be a bit high sometimes.
For example.
In November my department lost 12 guys. 2 resigned, 3 were fired, and the others just quit outright.
In February we are losing 10 people.
We keep hiring new guys, and they stay for just a few months it seems.
That is just my job that I am currently working.
This massive turnover we are getting is because of a change in management that occurred in November and now one that happened in late January (plus our contract got adjusted but our raise was nowhere near the projected raise, so a lot of our hires are leaving for our competitors in our field).
I wonder how bad it can be for a company as jank as 343 to keep employee retention down to a minimum?
Probably like 50.
Everyone got new jobs on Dec 8th because they released the game, and obviously it was finished.
Good question. I know a ton of people left recently in the recent years due to it being a failure project and infighting, but I can’t imagine they’re unbelievably understaffed, like Bungie was a small team during the classic games. 343 grew from 30 to 750 employees, divided into multiple groups for multiple tasks.
Since MCC isn’t being worked on anymore, you could probably assume most moved to Infinite. I find it hard to imagine they can’t fix a crooked cosmetic with the art team already working on cosmetics. No 3D modeler is going to be working on fixing BTB networking errors, so that’s just a big load of lies from 343 that they can’t sacrifice even a single employee from fixing BTB.
Honestly, no clue, however, 343 refuses to be transparent, so we have no clue how many people walked out and quit
