I truly feel bad for the ppl that are running into so many issue with the game. I play hard wired on my series x and rarely have issues.
Halo 2 is standing overtop of you so loudly I canāt hear you, sorry.
Your ignorance is expected.
Just like yours towards this series and the fans alike by siding with such treachery.
Non? i think they fix the low XP earning, its not perfect but at least nobody is complaining
Still none.
In the span of 10 months, Bungie created the final version of Halo 2 and it was beloved. In the span of 6+ years, 343 created multiple versions of Infinite and still somehow made whatever this is.
Yes.
Challenges still -BLAM- suck, and kill most of the fun the game has to offer. I still canāt pick and choose the modes I want to play (I love just playing CTF). Thereās not even a Ranked Slayer.
So IMO, currently neither of those issues are fixed.
They tried to quickly fix BTB too, so what did that accomplish?
Amateurs, thatās all there is to say.
Original Dev-Teams seems mostly gone. Now we got a Team of amateurs.
Fair enough
What ātreacheryā am I siding with?
Dude⦠I have a burning hatred for 343. I am happy that they have finally made at least two proper decisions :
- Getting rid of Brain āFanfictionā Reed
- Return to classic art and soundtrack design
I donāt like defending them whatsoever, hence why I have taken to rewriting Halo 4, Spartan-Ops, and Halo 5 to be a MUCH more consistent and likeable story; a hobby of spite.
Am I defending 343? Barely.
All I have done is merely point out the reasons why they screwed up this time around, even though they actually made some good choices for a change.
Soundtrack design? Are you referring to those few and far between moments we get rehashed music in the campaign? Or maybe the lack of menu music and Pre/Post match music? I think the Arcade machine on Streets has the most music in the entire game lmao only time I get to hear some Halo tunes.
Alright Alright Alright RamboBamboSlamboWambo I will play nice, how about you join the team and we smash Porrage into the dirt where he belongs?
Rehashed music? Halo has always had rehashed music. That is kinda the whole point of āthemingā. That is why every Halo game tries to do āA Walk In The Woodsā or āNever Forgetā in some form that pays homage to what came before, but with some minor tweaks.
Iām talking about the fact that Halo 4 decided to barely sound like Halo at all and more often than not sound like an entirely separate franchise. The most notable offender? The opening track to Mission 7. Take a listen.

Does this opening music sound like it was made for -
A - Halo
B - Mass Effect
C - Star Wars
D - Mario
The answer is Answer C.
Halo 5 Guardians decided to make a strange twist where they attempted to make music that sounded like Halo⦠but most of the tracks were actually just generic strings repeating the same notes or being so obnoxiously loud that you could barely hear the friends you were playing co-op with.
Halo Infinite does reuse music from the classics. But the new tracks heard in the campaign at least try to fit in with the themes and motifs of the actual series. The multiplayer soundtracks however are catered more to something that is to hype you up for a sports match, something that HCS Pro Leagues would definitely adore.
They should just offer Chris Puckett as an AI and then the HCS guys can be happy. Of course, I mean that it should be offered for free once you play so many matches or something, never charged, ever.
I on the other hand would take Lethal who does Quake Pro League and did a couple on HCS when Infinite released.
Hahahaha I thought this was a joke video with an actual Star Wars theme cut into it at first, you unintentionally got me. I did play Halo 4 but I didnāt enjoy it much so I pushed most of the campaign out of my brain except the Behemoth mission. Kind of like Halo 5, besides that amazing opening scene with the Spartans sliding down the hill I donāt remember much at all. Wow, yeah the symphony music is stinky dung, although Marty did say Space Symphony was his ākeywordsā to describe his vision for Halo:CEās music so itās ironic.
Sadly Martin OāDonnel and Michael Salvatoriās works were ignored by 343. Very few tracks in Halo 4 and Halo 5 are actually good or descent.
