I would like to know if anything is ever really looked into as far as the complaints in game goes. I had the misfortune of joining a game about 40 min ago in which the lag was so bad that 3 of my team mates dropped within the first 2 minutes leaving it 4 vs me. Now I recently received my first and sole ban for disconnecting last week so I wasn’t about to add to it and decided to stick it out. I would literally move 10 feet only to pop back 10 feet and any nades thrown in the air would just fly 10 feet and float w/ a stream/trail behind them (to give you an idea of how laggy it was). After a few minutes of getting slaughtered me Vs 4 3 opponents decided it was unbearable and left and it was then me vs <mark>REDACTED</mark>. He sent me a message over xbox telling me to just quit. I replied back with go ahead. He then proceeded to threaten me stating he was going to report me as a “lag switcher” and kept sending me harassing messages (by volume). I asked a number of times for him to stop messaging me and it was just as laggy for me as it was for him but he wouldnt stop. I reported the player with a brief description but I feel that legitimate complaints like mine are going unnoticed or having no action taken on them. Now I’ve dealt with my fair share of unsporting players but this one is ridiculous. I have a full transcript of the messages hes sent me and I’d like to have something actually done on the matter. I handled the matter on my end while keeping my cool, I obviously know how frustrating it is to be stuck in such a laggy game, but its to no fault of my own and I shouldnt have a report filed against me because some immature individual throws a tantrum. Now i know i could block the player and I’m half tempted to at this point but I feel that if he’s got the gall to message me again then its only more fuel he’s throwing into the fire.
I can only imagine that if a 343 player were present in my shoes he/she wouldnt tolerate behavior like this. Is there anything further that I can take action on to help “clean up” some of this type of stuff from the game?
You report the user from their gamercard and then move on. Calling them out here on the forums does nothing.
