As the title states i am playing halo reach on pc and it says i have a bunch more deaths then kills which is wrong, i record my kills and deaths and tested this myself , most recently over 3 games where i had 63 kills to 14 deaths, it reported 1 less kill then i actually had so it said i got 62 kills, but it also reported 48 more deaths which never happened over the 3 games, This bug is incredably annoying.
Also my halo on pc service is not reported on waypoint at all it says i have not even played the game anyone know why ?
Hey, yeah I have the same issue with the K/D stats, they are wrong in game. On both Waypoint and XBL, my Kills are about 500 more than my deaths. It’s an aggravating problem because every time I log in and check my stats, there are more kills than deaths than there were the day before. I am not sure what the cause of this is and there is not a consistent increase in deaths (e.g. It isn’t an additional 10 negative each login, it almost seems like a percentage). I submitted a report ticket regarding this and I recommend you do the same to increase attention. But you aren’t alone and when I check other players’ stats, there isn’t a single one positive that I have come across.
I do not have the issue on Waypoint. I would recommend making sure that you are on the correct MS account (cookies are a thing), and then make sure to go to Service Record, where it will bring you to Halo 5 by default. If you then navigate to the upper right of that screen, there will be a drop down menu where you can select MCC as the game. Hope this helps.
In game is incorrect, it’s very annoying and they haven’t responded to any of our tickets correctly. Waypoint is correct, so if the game grabs from there it can be fixed still, seems like a UI bug. Noticed this in the beta and submitted a ticket to no avail.
I am also experiencing this and even tested it out for multiple games. No matter what, my kd will stay at positive 318 over my deaths IN GAME. On waypoint it is correct. So let’s say I go in a game and get 10 kills without dying, I then restart my game so the stats will update and what do you know? My kills went up 10 but also my deaths went up 10 even if I didn’t die during that last game! It has been at a consistent +318 for like a week now. Most people wouldn’t care about this but I know my k/d is positive a couple thousand instead of +318. Hope this gets fixed because it bugs the crap out of me.

You’re not alone, Halo is a game where you definitely enjoy looking at your stats as it’s a skillful game. It’s the cherry on top to see how much better or worse you’re doing. It’s like having your W/L always even when you’ve won every game in a playlist, it’s broken and needs to be fixed. More worried that they simply don’t know as there’s no response or mention of it (how does the not get noticed).

I submitted a ticket to them. I’m surprised more people aren’t noticing this and saying something. As silly as this sounds, it’s actually made me stop playing for a bit to see if it’ll get fixed, I don’t want to keep destroying my k/d by playing. To some this may sound ludicrous but it bothers me that much.
I thought something was off when my kd stayed negative after I got a lot of positive kd matches (total amount of kill deaths increased but the kd ratio always stayed a bit under 1). Luckily I can check my real kd on this website but they need to fix it in game

Yeah hopefully this is something they address as soon as possible
i’m having the same issue too, i didn’t know my real K/D since the game is showing an incorrect one since the beggining, but i had a 4.6K kills and 4.9K deaths (for some reason) then i played grifball for some hours, at the end i had exactly 512 kills and 14 deaths (mainly due to bots) then i checked again, my K/D was 4.9K kills and FFS 5.2K deaths, at this point this isn’t even funny to look at, it’s a HUGE problem especially for those who actually care about their stats

I completely agree. This needs to be addressed ASAP. Most people DO care about their stats.
Oh thank god I thought it was just me
I currently have 5494 MP kills and 5634 deaths… sence launch all iv played is BTB and every round I get minimum 20 kills and many 10 death . Iv also had great games with over 40 kills and 3 deaths… (reach was my game on xbox I had 78000 kills on just reach on 360) i really want to see my KD fixed
I have this issue as well and made a post about it a few days ago. I have a 2.0 K/D on waypoint but in game I am like always just over 1k kills over deaths. I have even been taking screenshots of all of my matches and I have a 2.0 K/D or higher almost every match and it still somehow has not made me positive more than 1k or so in-game. But when I look on halo waypoint all of my stats are reflected properly. I am assuming the number in the in-game stats is pulling some other value and adding it or changing it in some way, probably just a simple bug, but I would love to see this changed!

I honestly feel like most people just have not noticed it yet. If more people keep discussing it like us, they will most likely address it. Only time will tell. Please 343, notice this.
What’s sad is that it’s only wrong for Reach but Reach is my favorite Halo game and since I noticed it I don’t like to play it anymore. This is a big issue for people who care about their stats. It needs to be fixed and I hope they’ll fix it soon.
