Simple Question. What are your thought’s on The AV-49 Wasp?
Probably one of the funnest vehicles to drive.
Wish I had some “oh crap” afterburners though.
Really fun, decently balanced, a tad too rare to get (even though it’s only a rare level req card), needs some variants but it’s a welcome addition
I love it. I mainly use it in firefight picking off enemies from a safe distance
- Fun to use. - Useful against unshielded enemies. - Feels more like a “hit and run” style of vehicle due to its low armour. - Can’t wait to see other variants. - Could reduce the heat up on the primary weapon as it overheats quite fast even when using short bursts.
Currently, it’s my favorite vehicle, and it was easy to obtain and unlock (all of my commons through rares are unlocked) but now I barely get one per silver req pack purchased.
- Hard to obtain (maybe for a reason)
- Needs some form of after-burners to boost out of sticky situations, like fighting 2-4 Banshees.
- The entire arsenal could take a buff, as the rockets cycle too slowly and chaingun overheats too fast.
- Armor… What armor? One Jackal with 3-4 BR shots blew threw my brand new Wasp.
It’s a great REQ, not too hard to kill, but also packs some great firepower. Also, it’s probably the best REQ to call in at a low REQ level.
I do feel like it’s harder to get than a lot of other vehicle REQs, so that’s kind of a bummer. I’d love to have more of them at my disposal.
I think its good at where its at. Its not supposed to be very strong, but a little weak in health? When fighting against the prometheans, it will get shredded. Lightrifles will obliterate it. Which is good, promethean weapons should be stronger.
Its really good for picking off individual targets. That said, because its intended use is for Warzone, it dies really quick if 3+ enemies target you. Could use a little speed boost to emphasize the hit-and-run combat style.
It’s a pretty fun vehicle to use, but unfortunately you’re made of gas soaked cardboard and use airsoft guns for weapons.
It’s good fun but needs buff…
A BR can bring it down quite fast. The weapons overheat too quickly and recharge is too slow.
Biggest st problem is rarity. I’m always running out of them.
It terms of lore, it’s garbage and UNSC probably lose battle if they take AV-49 Wasp. In gameplay, it’s still weak. We need flyable Pelican.
