Thoughts on "The Sprint"

I’ve seen then first few episodes of “The Sprint” on the Halo Channel, and I think it’s really interesting. It’s cool to get some perspective on how a concept and the lore for a map starts in the board room and makes it way to the actual game through multiple play tests and lots of user feedback. I personally think 343i puts lots of thought into map design, seeing maps from many different angles and play styles, which I don’t think is something that many developers put thought into in today’s FPS games.

Thoughts?

I love to see how much care and work go into them the guys at 343 are people who look like they can achieve a masterpiece

I love seeing them work on the game, and the pre-production H5 was also cool to watch. (the map Truth with checkered floors and minimal texture with basic geometry only and something like 15fps is a good example) Still wonder how the pros shrug it off like it’s finished, but ehh.

If only there was a way for people without an Xbox One to watch it >_>
