Personally I am loving the updated mcc, I can’t help but wonder how much better the game would be if it launched this way…
Much better matchmaking
I haven’t experienced any achievement resets and all are popping normally
This game has a long way to go still such as being suspended for dropped sessions among other things.
Just interested to hear other thoughts on mcc as a whole right now
I hopped on it for a few games for the first time in awhile the other day and really enjoyed the new experience. The matchmaking filter and the ability to FINALLY display personalized emblems in-game made me happy.
Of course, the mass quitting in the BTB game I played wasn’t quite as much fun - but I guess some people don’t quite know how the filter works just yet.
Not sure what the quitting penalties are now, but considering there’s a filter, I feel like they should be harsher. If you don’t want to play that game/game type, it’s your own fault.

It’s great now and I’m loving it. There’s so much to appreciate here. It’s just a pure experience with none of the garbage that gets thrown into modern games such as DLC and microtransactions.
It’s still got a few things that need sorting, but all the major issues are fixed. If this was how the game had launched, I think Halo would have gotten its title as fps King back. This update has brought back a lot of players, but for many it’s too little too late.
