Thoughts on the New Halo Infinite Funkopops

Do yall like the new sets of Halo Infinite funkopops of Master Chief and the Mark Vll’s edition?

Never really cared much for that toyline. But it’s cool seeing Halo Infinite themed products.

Not really. Pops aren’t my thing. I wish wed get more full size helmets

The flashiest one comes with a game unlock. Assuming it will be a matching yellow & blue skin. I like that more traditional Chief in green with MA40 personally. Might get one as a shelf eye catcher.

I’m not a big fan of Funkopops, they remind me of those terrible drawings you can buy at amusement parks- caricatures. The only Funkos I’ve been interested in are for non-human characters, which is why the only Funkos in my possession are Tom Servo and Crow from MST3K.

The HI funkos just make Chief look overly childish and twee. I’m not into it, but I’m sure they’ll survive without my money.

Funko pops aren’t really my thing. Though I can understand why people like them and collect them. I will admit the Infinite Funko pops do interest me, but only because their reveals are a source of Infinite Information in these crazy times

I for one am so glad that we have gotten more Funko Pops. I have asked my wife to go to Best Buy for me as I really, really want the jungle camouflage Chief.

FunkoPops have been, and always will be, an abomination.

Cool for the people that like them though.

Coming from someone that has all of the Halo pops to date, I am definitely excited for the new ones. I already preordered 4 of the 6 so far. One thing I don’t like is that they are just the same 2 pops, just in different colors and with a different weapon. That has always been something I disliked about Funko. The Halo universe has so many characters that could be made in pop form, but they just rinse and repeat the same design with different colors or weapons. They never made any jackals, hunters, brutes, drones, sentinels or other spartans (meaning not just generic ones with a different armor and weapon) that are a part of the story. Maybe in the future.

I agree with you on that, I also pre-ordered 4 out of 6 and waiting for BestBuy to release the pre-order option for the camouflage one, but they have some many options to make but they seem to stick with the basic easy ones

The Target pre-orders sold out really quick but I have a feeling they will go back up at least 1 or 2 more times before the December 7th release date. In regards to the Best Buy one, my friend works there so I asked him to check if he could find anything in their system about it. He’s going to let me know. I’ll post here if I get anything helpful.

I think they are awesome and the exclusives are too but the yellow and blue pop has an add on code for Halo Infinite so wonder what it is when it comes out in November

@Poppin Cheevies, so your comments got me to go back & look at previous Halo pops. I think my favorites are Buck, Arbiter, & Chief w Cortana in hand. The Grunt looked terrible IMO lol. You’re right, lots more room for expansion. I always thought the Alien & Predator pops looked amazing as a related sci fi reference.

Xjagox - Even from the beginning, the line lacked variation. They started to add more with the most recent release before the Infinite ones, but I do hope they expand it. Believe it or not, the Grunt is one of the most valuable of the original Halo pops, with the title going to the Halo 4 Blockbuster exclusive gold Master Chief. Last time I checked, the value was around $600-$700.

@Poppin Cheevies, $600+!? I honestly had no idea there was that kind of collectable market for the rarer ones. Wont lie… I thought the active camo Chief was “blank” & meant to be painted. HAHA! That went right over my head.
