Thoughts on the new gunfighter magnum variant

I’m super pumped for the new gunfighter magnum variant that was shown in the community update! Here’s what was mentioned about it:

“Lightweight competition pistol carried by Spartan operators who prefer a no-frills backup firearm. Quick draw Magnum with fast-reload magazines. Iron sights only, no Smart-Link module is attached.”

My guess is it will have a higher rate of fire than the current magnum and less range. Basically if someone rushes you with an AR you can switch to this sidearm and compete with them at range. I think this will be great! Hopefully it has a better time to kill than the AR. You can be rewarded for skill shots instead of losing to someone who is just spraying the AR. What are your thoughts?

How many magnum-variants do we have in the game already?

It will only be cool if it’s a 4SK… I know that there’s a portion of the community that wants a 4SK pistol.

It’s going to be completely useless, unless it’s better than the BR.

Well supposedly it’s supposed to be a faster drawing pistol with probably a faster fire rate. It would be kinda like a spammy more close range pistol then a ranged magnum.

That doesn’t really bother me. The Whispered Truth and CE are level 5 and 6 so my guess is they hardly get used anyway. I don’t even remember the last time I used the CE pistol in a WZ game.

Unlike most variants this one actually seems to have a purpose and changes gameplay a bit in Warzone, the more new weapons added to the sandbox the better in my opinion.

The person who used the appropriate weapon in the appropriate weapon situation is the skilled one. And spraying an AR? What are they supposed to do semi-auto it? Is that more skillful to you idiots? You wouldn’t complain if a shotgun killed you in close quarters so why complain about automatics?

Learn to switch weapons rather than nerf every weapon that can beat your favourite.
