Had they kept their vision on continuing after the events of halo 5, the game would’ve been in a way better state than it is now. I will always respect their work on that game because it was their stamp on providing their own take on the halo universe. The people that have their issues with it, can simply continue to play MCC. It’s extremely disappointing that they decided to go backwards on evolving halo.
You’re in the rather minority and it’d still be in the same state as that’s not the reason it is where it is. It’s because they wanted a Breath of the Wild style experience but had to scrap everything and restart in the last two years. 5 was just so out there it didn’t feel like 5 and felt closer to Titanfall or its own thing rather than a Halo title. Halo feels like an evolution of 3/Reach more than 4 or 5 did.
