Thoughts on the Icarus armor

So with the moniters bounty now fully out REQs included what are your thoughts on the new armor that was added Icarus?

my thoughts I love it though while I was using it when I had either a dmr or br on my back when I Spartan charge it’s not there and the ‘click’ sound for the ground pound is not there but only when I’m wearing the icuars armor

side note on the assault versions of Templar and the dark star one the new skins do not show up instead they show up as the default skin anyone else have this issue?

When I first saw it, I thought it was Security armor. But it’s less ugly than some of the other armor they’ve made, I’ll give them that.

It’s like a more organic version of Security (which is very bulky). It’s interesting.

My thoughts? I actually like it quite a bit, especially with a lighter blue for both primary and secondary. It honestly surprised me how well it looks… to me at least.

It looks a little better than some of the other armors they’ve come out with. But it has the same problem as every other set of armor in Halo 5: Guardians…

It would look better with a black techsuit.

Looks nice, just noticed it has no Thrusters

I think what he means is that his secondary weapon is not visible on his back when he Spartan Charges.

What about with the ground pound click? Is that fixed yet?

It looks okay, I suppose, but I’m more intrigued by the description, which refers to modern UNSC strikecraft. If this is anything like what happened with the Stinger armor and the Wasp, it sounds like 343 could be teasing some kind of UNSC fighter craft for a later update. Bit of a long shot, though.

No not yet at least not since yesterday

I have been wearing the armor and Hemet. I always like to wear new armor for a bit. It’s okay, not my favorite. I have noticed very few players wearing it though.

I have noticed that too but to me I like the white stripes since I run with steel and pineapple colors the white on some armors fits

It’s very shiny. Literally.

But actually though, I kind of like it. It’s more scarce on the details, making it look sleek and functional. Definitely one of the better armours they’ve made.
