Anyone notice how the energy bayonet takes literally no skill. I mean it’s level 8 req but that isn’t even that hard and it is just so powerful. I mean just look at this. If I was those guys I would be like what the heck just happened.
I believe that’s the exact way you’re supposed to use the weapon. Pity the 5 that didn’t notice a guy rushing in with a bright blade on his gun.
I think you kind of tricked them since I’ve rarely seen the energy bayonet use on a SMG.

I know and I don’t know why it is easily the best with the smg you can just spray them with a few bullets and one hit kill them super fast.
I’m starting to think that nothing in the history of halo requires no skill, sigh.
Do people really think that a person who has never played a fps game to be instantly as good as someone who plays them daily?

I have come to the conclusion that the “downfall” of halo is actually just because of the fans.

Well ya but come on I just killed 5 people and barely got shot they didn’t even really react. But they were probably just new and I think I can rank myself in the skilled almost no life section.
It’s a fun time. No need to be mad.
Funny thing is, it could have been easier. Unless the enemy has the upgraded shields, the bayonet is usually (haven’t used it enough to say it is a 100%) one-hit kill.
I wan’t to use it, but after 700 warzone matches I still forget to equip it that late in the game.
Yeah actually very useful when you run out if ammo in a close quarters combat situation
It’s probably good to be used to get back an armory because you can thrust at an enemy and melee them because of the small spacing. I love to use my energy bayonet smg.
I know for a fact that it requires no skill, because I can actually do work with it haha
But I like it, I don’t care about skill required or any of that crap haha
I think it is a nice addition to the game but could be toned back a bit by decreasing the lunge range.
Late game I usually still have advanced sensors and silencers attached. Everyone is normally so focused on taking out the last 2-4 waves of bosses that you can clean out an entire armory alone, or take down most people in the middle base trying to shoot bosses.
Not showing up on radar is a super super powerful perk. I’m very surprised the armor mod is only common. But that’s kinda off topic.

Should be legendary and I use it every time. I like mixing covert play with aggressiveness. I can get up to enemies closer than anyone else.

If you aren’t paying attention to your radar you’re playing wrong.
Why wouldn’t you pay attention to something that literally tells you where enemies are?..
But yes it works super well. At level 5 i throw advanced sensors on with a Longshot silenced br, and proceed to wreck the enemy team almost effortlessly. That combo means add long add you don’t sprint, you will never appear on enemy radar.
I just find it as a little but of fun at the end of the game. If someone kills me with an energy bayonet, I don’t scream the -Yoinking!- house down like a sweaty tryhard, I just accept that is how the mechanics of the game work.
How do you use the energy blade so it one shots. When I use it I just normal mele and I look stupid with my pants down.
