i don’t think it will be like spec ops. first off its 4 player. and second their is a storyline.so far to me it doesn’t sound like spec ops
I like the idea, just change the name.
Maybe something like “UNSC missions or UNSC Undercover Missions”.
It won’t be like call of duty at all. I suggest you read the GI magazine article if you haven’t yet.

Basically, spartan ops will be missions away from the UNSC Infinity (a huge ship carrying spartan IVs) in which you play as your very own spartan IV.

Spartan Ops is a much better name than that.

Extra missions, as spartan IV´s, why does some one even should have problem with this? (probably your own Spartan)
And the name is good, Spartan Operations, you´re an spartan, you go onto an operation.

Every series takes cues from another at some point, Call of Duty may have done that with Spec Ops and taken cues from a different game.
As such Halo will do the same.
