Just want to hear what people think of the Remix album, I took what Frankie said in the bulletin on board and have to say I agree. Its likely to get me to listen to different kinds of music.
The idea of the Apocalyptica remix just sounded wrong… but have to say its really grown on me! Same with the rest.
What really annoys me is how many people on the soundcloud.com website seem to be writing it off saying “Its NOT Halo”, “waaaaaaaah”, “Whats he DONE!!!”… Its not in the game guys, its an experiment and I for one am all for it!!
So what do you guys think?

Hopefully there will be a level where chief is brushing past dancing grunts in a night club, trying to reach and assasinate a prophet sitting in the VIP section. Something very similar to this.
Then this music will work.

The remixes should not be in the game. But that being said i like them. the OST songs that are actually in the game are great too.
As a remix: I STILL think it’s amazing! I cannot wait for the full soundtrack! 
I don’t mind them being there for people who want them, but I probably won’t be buying the Special Edition of the soundtrack, because I don’t really enjoy those remixes.

I like the concept, and I happen to like the songs I’ve heard. One of my favorite parts of the Halo 2 soundtrack was that it had different artists’ Halo-inspired music. The remix is very similar to this idea, and I love it.
Perhaps the best aspect is that these tracks are not part of the game, and there for those who might enjoy them. They are optional, and I always love options.

I think its awesome! I am so tempted on getting the special edition one so i can have both the soundtrack and the remixes. If i want to listen to the epic melodies from the campaign i can. Or, play some pretty dam awesome tunes to game to i can! Very impressed with the music.

I’ve already decided that as soon as I can pre-order the Special Edition CD from somewhere I will (I prefer having a hard-copy as a back-up).
