Thoughts on "perks"

first off, i don’t know all that much about these perks things, but i know that not too much info is released,

so don’t yell at me if i get something incorrect,

now, don’t you think that the chances are that 343 will swoop to CoD’s level is VERY minimal,
like Frankie said, Halo is Halo, not CoD

but my thoughts are, what if these ‘perks’ aren’t one sided over-powers like CoD perks

the’d have advantages, but they’d have other disadvantages to level them out, and make them JUST AS useful and equal as your default equipment

examples;

Reloading faster (remember,this is an example), with the disadvantage being, that you have a slower firing speed

or

Lighter armor-you can move faster and jump slightly higher, with the disadvantage being, you have less health, and shield power

or a weapons specific one, you have an extra scope for the sniper rifle, with the disadvantage being, you cannot scope AT ALL with any other precision weapon

this way, noobs have just as good of a chance of winning a game, as the pros, while keeping the ‘perks’ idea up

thoughts?

No matter how hard people try to make perks or loadout even there will always be one with an unfair advantage and in competitive halo ALL thats right EVERY SINGLE PLAYER needs to be exactly even and the same at spawn

I am sure that the perks won’t be unbalanced like Cod’s. Maybe they are things like, carry an extra grenade, carry an extra magazine, shield’s regenerate a bit faster, etc.

Or maybe 343 is taking a completely different step with this, something we have never seen before, there for, don’t understand, and our first thought when it comes to perks is “COD,”.

this part is very true
