Overall I like it. I think there’s plenty of improvements to be made though. If I’m not mistaken, I think the forums are the same layout as the Gears of War forums.

I see all stats (Forum Rank, Post count, etc.) were all reset. I love the site. Just a bit disappointing ti see I am having to start over from scratch when I was a Marine Gold. Ah well. Life happens.
I do love the site. A bit difficult to navigate on Mobile. But overall not bad.

My biggest issue with the new Waypoint is how the times are shown for your levels. I just jumped onto Waypoint to see if I had a new best time on a level today, and instead of the Minutes:Seconds format as seen in the game, Waypoint shows your time as seconds with decimals. This makes viewing your best times a lot more complicated and adds the unnecessary steps of having to calculate and convert that back to minutes/seconds. Any way that could be changed back?

I’m still getting used to it. Like someone else said it does feel a little cluttered on mobile. I also miss the old badges and avatars.

I don’t know, the fact that it basically started strobing white really quickly when I got an error is probably bad for people with photo-sensitivity.
EDIT: This is the page & it was in Firefox 94.0.1 for reference. Again, caution for potential strobing effects as the error continuously reloads the page…

It’s missing a lot from the original site like all the other Halo games listed under the games tab. Also some of the UI looks bad like the white background on the MCC profile avatar.

I don’t really understand where all the praise comes from. I find it really raw right now. I can’t even customize anything on my Waypoint profile. Waypoint itself seems to be somewhat separated from the forums now. Am I using a different new Waypoint than everyone else here? There is so so much that isn’t working yet. But I guess it looks pretty.

While it looks great… and I enjoy spending time here. I was hoping for more. Once again they rushed an unfinished product that’s broken and missing things;
At one point, they fixed the service records so that they all showed up on the old Waypoint. Then they were broke again and now they’re still missing here on the new site. As someone who’s finishing up achievements and everything else in the OG titles form the 360, It’s kind of a bummer that they couldn’t transfer that information over to the new site.
I also spent time crafting a decent (in my opinion) profile blurb about myself and my progress through the Halo saga, now it’s just disappeared and I feel like I’ve wasted my time… they could have at least given me a date or a time so I could come in and save everything somewhere so I could transfer it over, or better yet, give me the option when the new site when live to bring at least some of that information over.
The new badge system (while ingenious and has great potential) is clunky and lackluster. The badges themselves don’t look great, and the information and/or progress need to complete some of the badges isn’t explained very well.
Overall… the site looks great and modern… and I do like the look and feel of it. But it feels rushed and not finished at release and I sincerely hope (although I won’t hold my breath) that they’re already working on fixing it and/or adding to it.

The only thing I’m gonna miss from the old waypoint is my SEC3OP title and the badge lol. Overall I’m loving the look and feel of the new waypoint!

I personally dislike this style of forum. Perhaps I am just stuck in my ways, but I have always found a more traditional forum structure and layout easier to use and understand. Each subcategory is its own forum so it is simple to understand where you should post a topic and anticipate where it will appear on the site.
This more modern style forum, used here and on other sites, seems different for the sake of different in the name of progress and appears to ape social media sites with "@"s and hashtags and alike. Adopting the same trappings regardless of how appropriate they may be. They have a habit of listing all the threads together, regardless of topic, and I sometimes find myself confused about what the actual topic is or where I am posting.
Perhaps if I were to see both formats side by side with fresh eyes I might see more of the benefits but it is difficult after years of using more traditional bulletin board style forums.
I am somewhat confused about quoting posts too. The previous layout was unwieldy, especially when nesting several quotes in a discussion, but how does it work now? Do we have to manually copy and paste the test we want to quote?

I like the new sleek looking layout, although It’s kinda weird how it syncs up with your Xbox profile.
If in the future, gamertags and icons change, will it change here as well?
Otherwords I’m getting a nice Bungie net feel to to it that we had back in 2010, especially with how threads are laid out. Looks good.

It wouldn’t let me post links which might be because I’m starting from scratch again. I don’t know. It’s really annoying. And all of the Matchmaking Feedback threads are gone. That’s a major, MAJOR disappointment because there was tons of good resource information in that forum category. Anyways, there’s just been lots of disappointment going on right now.

Looks better than the previous one. I prefer the new design and I think the font is pretty good too. The redesign of the service records are another positive. Hopefully no more bugs and implausible numbers.
