I like this new version personally. There are a few more updates they need to do but replying in threads is much more efficient and finding where you left off. I like the QoL improvements.
Agreed. I’m using it on my phone right now, it feels almost… claustrophobic… in a way. I haven’t tried the browser version yet though.
I’ve seen this exact forum style and layout used elsewhere so I’m a bit used to it already. I guess it’s called Discourse? I never knew that. Well, the more you know!

I don’t care for the new font. The squared off letters are packed too close and it makes it difficult to read.
EDIT: my comment refers to the desktop version of the site. I just looked at the mobile version and it’s much easier to read.

I enjoy it. (I’m a sucker for the dark layout). However, I am worried about the lack of the content browser. We cannot access maps right now.

A lot of problems here. Parts can’t be accessed. I have had a couple of ‘strobe light screens’ trying to access parts.

Quite a few problems here. parts not opening etc. I have had a couple of flickering screens too.
Talking about visual features the new waypoint site looks a great improvement, the app still looks like it lacks some things like a dark mode and the forums, but I think it is being improved and is better than no app that was we had on the past.
Is there an option for a light mode background? I got very used too the white background.

Had to try login several times. The window says ‘waiting for logincdn’ in bottom corner, then just sits there.
Not at this time, no.
It’s on my list of things to explore for the future.

It is definitely a touch weird, but it reminds me of the Gears forums.
Looks interesting so far, very tight and efficient. As with anything new, it will take a little time to get acclimatized. Nice to see a lot of familiar names posting.

I would consider it a bit too early for me to judge the new forums as the new forum has only been active for few hours. Some features will probably settle after a bit of time.
Despite this, I’m still thankful for one addition and that is a indicator that you have read a forum post which will probably become extremely helpful in the long term.

It looks streamlined. Not only within the app and the website, but from what has been shown with VISR in Halo Infinite. Good work guys, keep it up!

It’s certainly growing on me. I’m looking forward to discovering what else it has to offer as I keep using it. I also like the fact that there is a Discourse app which makes it a lot easier for myself. If you don’t have it I highly recommend it.
One thing that’s a positive is that at least there won’t be any necroposts around for a while. Well until they migrate all of the old stuff that is.
