In your opinion it was super “bland”, being used to it wasn’t the reason, this version is barely a day old, it’ll grow, I’m just not keen on it at this time.

I like it, feels smooth & crisp. 
I would say however, that the site feels a little awkward for larger resolutions(2K/ 4K).
Edit: also I had 3 headers a moment ago while refreshing, the fourth refresh got it to go away lol.
Edit 2: Foreunner drip on the sides maybe?

Completely broken as in it literally will never load. The progress bar in Safari hangs and hangs, until finally I get “a problem repeatedly occurred on [halowaypoint url here]” If I use Chrome’s iOS app, it works just fine, but stock iOS 15 Safari does not work. Disabling content blockers and VPN doesn’t help either. In fact it is so broken that I have to close the tab and force quit Safari to be able to load any site thereafter.

I love it all, but I miss the ranks and the Halo beta badges… Ive been here for MANY years and miss all the stuffs… Love the new look though.

I’m so glad that forum ranks are finally gone. They created completely wrong posting incentives, and caused nothing but trouble from my point of view. Now we can finally live in a world where people post purely because they feel like doing so, and everyone is equal.

Yea unfortunately those are not coming back. (In the form that they were in at least. I dont know the full plans there.) To quote the “Waypoint vNext: FAQ” blog from last month.
For Halo 5 , what’s happening specifically with Spartan Companies and User Generated Content (UGC)?
KP: Spartan Companies will still appear in Halo 5 but without our interface you will no longer be able to edit your Company info or roster. (So, if you have any planned updates, we recommend you do them now .) Your Company’s Service Record and Commendations will not be visible, but they will continue to tick behind the scenes and rewards (including Achilles) will continue to be granted. Your roster will be locked with no way to add, remove, promote, or demote members. Spartan Company forums will no longer be available.
The good news however is if you are in contact with any of your company you can still do the stuff!

What type of trouble did they cause? I quite liked it showing how much I contributed to the forms. To have a goal like getting to the next rank and unlocking profile pics/banners always pushed me to be more active in the community. Not just to sit there and see what people are talking about. Although considering you’re a monitor, you’ve seen a bit more than me and I may be a little biased since I had just gotten to the next rank yesterday.

I like the way the forums look and work. They are very similar to the Gears forums. Can’t say I’m too pleased about ranks and signatures disappearing though. It would have taken just a bit more effort to get everything transferred over (including H5 content like Spartan companies) and would have shown a lot of attention to detail from 343i’s side. Given the lack of a proper transfer, I can’t say I’ll be using the forums much anymore.
