Threads, especially ones with a lot of replies like this, should be divided into pages. There’s a reason pages exists. lol But yeah, this needs changing sooner rather than later.

So far so good tbh. A little sad to see that legacy service records don’t show properly and that we lost our badges. However, I remain optimistic for the future of the new site !

So I don’t have to scroll through 285 posts to reach the bottom of the page? That’s why pages are a thing.
Where’s that playable elites megathread at? That has like 10k+ posts in it. I want to see how my browser handles 10k posts on one page.

Look to the right of the posts. There’s a bar you can drag or click to quickly get to any part of the thread. If you want to get back to the top, you can click at the date at the top of the bar. If you want to get back to the bottom, you can click at the time since last post at the bottom.There is no need to scroll through anything.
Old threads will be ported over later.

Gotta say, I miss the old badges. Getting a badge for making an edit on a post just ain’t going to have the same sentiments value of Community Writing Contest awards or what have you.

I still think pages are better, but we’ll see how this goes. Maybe it will work out for this site.

I really only used Waypoint to find out my fastest MCC times for achievements, but now the numbers make little sense. What does “676.733” mean? I believe it’s meant to be 12 mins 57 seconds, but I’m clueless how those correlate

The new site seems to be built much better than the legacy, but I am peeved that the records of all my previous posts are now lost, it essentially is treating me as a new waypoint member as there is no record I have found of the hundreds of posts I made on the legacy site. Seems very inconsiderate of long time waypoint posters.

This stie has an incredibly hard time loading in any page and i do not know why. I dont like this.

I doubt that was their intent, but it would be nice if more legacy features made the initially transition. I remember being a productive member and worked towards a bio and certain medals. Even got a custom avatar too!
But I think in time it’ll get better.

I like the new waypoint app but I like the old site better. It seemed easier to navigate and I liked the spartan company function.

Personally, I like the look of Vnext, but some things still need polishing. I don’t like using my Xbox profile pic though. :\
Also a light mode option would be appreaciated for those who might want it, as 343™ says, "The more options, the better!"

honestly, I really like the new waypoint, my only problem is that I need to download a different app to access forums on mobile.
