We’re in an industry where if you don’t preorder and get the season pass for games like Batman, you’re pretty much missing half the game. So in all honesty, we should be glad 343 is relegating this crap to a single mode. Still, that might be enough to ruin the mode for me, and I can only hope there’s a new version of firefight. With the amount of dev time this game has it should be in.

It’s as if Firefight and Invasion were expecting a baby, meanwhile Firefight had an affair with Titanfall and Big Team Battle, and the end result as a baby was Warzone. As for micro transactions, they’re not a big deal. I’m embracing it actually, use the money i was going to use for DLC/Season Pass and get me some Req Cards. This is like GTA V. Free DLC with micro transactions. Now GTA isn’t a play to win game and neither will Halo 5 be. It’s that simple. It’s just to buy some Req Cards if you can’t or don’t want to waste time earning them. I mean we all play the -Yoink- out of Halo multiplayer, it’s not like we’re not going to earn a -Yoink- ton of cards opposed to someone buying a -Yoink- ton of cards. All of you freaking out and being mad for this are just being stupid

I entirely agree with this. It is better then a really overpriced season pass or a bunch of o****verpriced map packs. This is all stuff you can earn in game, and even better stuff you will definitely earn in game, without even trying. If there are better versions of the Packs, and I think are, you will most certainly be able to unlock these better packs through completing commendations. The stuff in them sounds cool though, new assassinations, skins, and such.
Yeah I’m fine with it as nothing is of interest to me in the packs I will just unlock them I am not paying for anything and the DLC maps being free is great that means for once I won’t be wasting any money buying them and not being able to play them. Besides I don’t really care about Warzone and players being able to spawn with rockets etc it will just be a fun game type to sit back and enjoy not a competitive one. Besides it is kind of like Fifa and those that bought coins for players who care if you have all the best players or spawn with the best weapon you are still bad at the game and will lose to a better player. Just in the case of Halo I now get to kill you and take your weapon from you one I have killed you.

Yes, I’ve noticed that there are variants to the Req Cards. Like “Uncommon”, “Rare”, and “Ultra Rare”. Have no idea what effects these have in-game (maybe more ammo?) but I’m sure these are the random, and essentially the more rare ones to earn/buy. And at least these micro transactions aren’t forcing you to buy them like DLC maps. Most games, DLC is required to play the latest maps and gametypes. And sometimes all your friends have them but you don’t. Biggest example is CoD

Yeah I’m sure there will be scorpions and wraiths etc but it all may be map dependant we have only seen one warzone map so who knows?? Besides there were also a lot of weapons missing as well so perhaps weapons that you can get are also specific to the map in Warzone also.

Dude, we can spawn with Rockets, Lasers, Mantises and a freaking Promethean Ship that nukes anything from orbit. A tank isn’t going to be OP.

I agree it would be pretty OP perhaps in the final version or on other maps they will be available but they will only spawn one at base or else where on the map which you can fight for control of rather than a whole team spawning in with friggin tanks.

Like I told the other guy, all vehicles in Warzone can only be used from Req Cards, and having tanks and -Yoink- would be too OP, then you’d be all complaining it’s unfair and -Yoink-. Smh.

Exactly. Having tanks and wraiths when we have Mantises and Phaetons? Not a chance dude. I stand by what I said. What we see is what we’ll get

Too OP. Keyword “too”. We already have all that’s stuff, that’s why. We already have people complaining that Warzone is unbalanced and stuff because of the Req Card system, why not give them more things to complain about and add in all the vehicles in Halo’s universe

It’s not adding more to complain about it’s adding more to have fun with and tanks have been in the series since the beginning. A Promethean Phaeton is much more OP than a tank that’s slow and needs to reload after each shot.
Besides, when has the tank being “OP” ever stopped it from being in the other games?

I guess your right. But I still doubt they’ll add it in. Would be pretty cool and fun I guess. They’ll always be people that’ll still be mad and stuff. Life works that way
plus a scorpion on the map they showed us would not work at all. That’s why they gave us the vehicle choices we’ve seen. Maybe if they add in more maps then they’d add in the tank but for now, on that map, a scorpion is a no

I want the old ‘Halo-Concept’ back. Player takes control over the map, player takes control over the vehicles and then he controls the match. In my opinion all vehicles should spawn on the map and Team Red as well as Team Blue are not only fighting for the objective, but for the tanks and so on too. 2 Scorpions won’t break War-Zone.

Oh, I know that there are some people that will always be upset but if anything, the Phaeton will probably get the most hate for “just being an AC-130 rip-off because it can fly and shoot stuff on the ground.”. Tanks will always be accepted in because they’ve always had a place in Halo.
