I was hoping to actually pre order it this year, but then had hopes of getting it early next year. Sadly now im just not wanting to wait a whole nother year for a game that could potentially ruin the halo franchise.
Honestly I’m personally fine with it. I like to think I’m a very patient person, so as long as they’re willing to use the extra time they have as best they can to make Infinite as good as possible, then I’m willing to give them the time they need to do so.
My predictions:
September: Too close to summer.
October: 12th, 19th, or 26th
November: 2nd, 9th, or 16th
December: Not happening. Needs to launch before Black Friday.
There is my predictions for Halo’s release.
Call me a joke, I was right about the Xbox Series X.
I’m honestly fine with the release date. 343i have been releasing plenty of content for Halo: The Master Chief Collection to keep us playing and entertained. Not too mention that it gives those aiming for SR152 a chance
Since they announced a delay I was wanting them to release the game on CE’s 20th anniversary. It will be so cool to be playing when it all started exactly 20 years ago.
I will be too happy to complain

November 2021 is a bit egregious.
But I’m not surprised.
I’m fine with it as long as they ship a good game. Fall was kind of disappointing but I think it will look better then the demo and have an amazing experience. The one thing I’m mad about is that we didn’t get a look at Craig’s new makeover

Release date window means there’s a chance it could launch on November 15th. That was the day that the original Xbox and Halo: Combat Evolved launched back in 2001.

It would certainly be a missed opportunity if they weren’t aiming for that date.
So far the delay to fall is the current release date for halo Infinite and could change. However, as Shigeru Miyamoto said “A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.” The wait may be gruesome for some people but on the bright side you have plenty of productive time before Halo Infinite releases.
I’m glad they’re not rushing this one. Take as much time as you need to have a full game at release, 343i.

True and the king of delayed games Cyberpunk 2077 is coming out today so we`ll see how accurate that phrase is.
But on topic I honestly think that if Infinite released in a subpar badly optimized state, that it would of honestly been the final nail on the coffin even if they campaign was fun and multiplayer better than H5. The amount of backlash that it could have received would have just destroyed any hype and momentum that the Halo franchise needs in order to stay in a positive light. Im happy with the pictures they shared yesterday and im extremely excited for next year. Till then Cyberpunk will hold me over.
It seems to be the common consensus that the game needed to be delayed or risk a horrible launch. Thus, i’m glad they delayed. But the Fall 2021 announcement hurt a little. On the bright side, it may be earlier for insiders, and the game will be better for it.
It’s fine, as I’ll be patient and wait. In the meantime, there’s still MCC to enjoy, and I’ll be trying to get to 152 on Halo 5. I suspect the release date will be November 15, to coincide with CE’s 20th anniversary, and Bonnie’s tweet here seems to hint at it.
By Fall 2021, I’m assuming Nov 15, CE’s 20th anniversary. Whether it actually lives up to CE’s legacy remains to be seen, however.
I’m not holding my breath.
I’m fine with it, this will give him a lot of time to fix things and add things.

A delayed game is not always a good game I mean look at cyberpunk along with anthem and many others.
Since there’s gonna be flights, I’m fine with the new release date. My final prediction is CE’s 20th Anniversary
Bonnie Ross mentioned the 20th anniversary of Halo: CE, so that could be a solid release date. I honestly just want Halo to release in a good state, as MCC was broken at launch and Cyberpunk 2077 had some major console issues recently as well.
