Hey Everyone,
Just wondering what everyone thought of, of the halo 5 beta music and any random halo 5 music in the trailers.
I personally loved the halo 5 beta music once if got passed the intro, the intro seemed to be very generic. But after a minute or so it gets really dramatic and has a great feel to it.
Also wondering which halo had the best music ost.
I loved:
Halo 1: The horse we rode in on
Halo 2 (remastered) : Unforgotten memories, Impart, Promise the girl, unwearied heart (If you don’t know these songs you simply must listen to them)
Halo 3: Impart, never forget
Halo 3 odst: Didn’t like the music lol. Too depressing
Halo reach had some good ones, but forget the names lol. Was perfect to match the theme of the game, real depressing but still had hope that they could get passed the crisis of the covenant invasion.
Halo 4’s : 117, haven, to galaxy
Anyways look forward to reading all the replies.
From what I heard in the commercials and the BETA I’ve got a great feeling Halo 5 will deliver in the music department.
I really liked the scorpion tank theme and genesong in halo 2 anniversary. And I actually loved the ODST soundtrack. Honestly there are too many songs I like to list them all here. Would take too long.
I love it so far, sounds a lot better then Halo 4, now I am not hating on Halo 4 as it was a decent game, its just the soundtrack never really delivered any memorable songs like the Halo 3 Warthog Run music… God, that song is so -Yoink!-.
But as you wrote, 117, Haven and Galaxy were pretty good I think.
I disliked the main menu sound. As I read from another review “I was waiting for Captain America to step out”.
I found Halo 5 beta to be pretty underwhelming. It reminds me of Spartan Assault for some odd reason but wasn’t really impressed with the beta’s main theme since it felt generic to me. Halo 4 seemed to have some good music but nothing really remember-able in the sense of iconic. While Halo 1/2/3 had many iconic themes like the warthog run and some great tracks like Follow.
I’m very excited to hear more of Guardians’ Soundtrack.
So far, it’s not bad. 
The Halo 5 beta music was quite underwhelming for me, it sounded too much like a WWII film.
Id of liked the monks to make a return, and some epic guitar/metal like in Halo 2 Anniversary. We Cant forget the drums either.
Halo 1,2,3 all had a similar theme but with differences. Why cant halo 5 follow this little trend , im sure it would be amazing
I find that one song they’ve used in almost every trailer since Gamescom 2014 to be really cool, and the beta suite had one or two cool songs. I feel it’ll do Halo well… not “Marty well,” but still quite good!
liked the beta music didn’t really like halo 4’s but I have high hopes for the future
