If your gonna tl;dr, please just don’t bother.
MULTI-PLAYER:
HOLY CRAP THE AIM ASSIST: Is the first thing I would like to point out. This makes it FAR to easy to get headshots or just unload an entire BR clip into an enemies body from across the map. And correct me if I’m wrong, but a scoped sniper rifle now has it too? “Oh skill, your leaving already? Well nice seeing you. Come by any time” Please award those with accuracy and not those who button smash their triggers. Tone it down.
Leveling system: Okay so I’m alright with it. I mean it’s not game-breaking or anything but please don’t reward me for sucking -Yoink-. If I do horrible during a match and cause my team to lose because of it, I shouldn’t get 2500 EXP or something. If the person that died 25 times and got 6 kills gets the same amount of EXP as the one who got 25 kills and 6 deaths, why bother trying? You might as well shoot at the walls during the whole match.
UNSC air vehicle: This added alot of variety and sense when implemented into Halo 3/reach, but why take away the use of them completely?
Insta-spawn: This feature really is somewhat game-breaking to me. I don’t wanna kill someone then 1 second later have him/her spawn beside me. Sometimes this makes raking up the kills EXTREMELY easy and getting multi-kills (which if someone does this, they don’t deserve those multi-kills)This is a really bad feature.
Friendly Fire: Not much to say here other then it increased the awareness of your team. Please add this.
Connection Options: Uhhhh…What happened to this? Why would you take this out anyway? Please add this feature back to the game.
Forced out of scope: When you get shot while scoped, you get forced out of scope. This also added some encouragement to aiming and not getting hit (Although dodging bullets isn’t easy. Unless you can do bullet-time or your Chuck Norris. But lets be honest here, Bullets bounce off his chest.)
Forced Objectives: I should be able to choose when I wanna grab an objective. Not be forced to just 'cuz I’m close to it. And seriously, let me drop them when I want to.
Ordnance: Although I don’t like the thought of getting power weapons/boosts because I got a few medals that doesn’t make this game-breaking and I can completely live with this (Although racing to those power orbs/weapons to get an power up/weapon was something I enjoyed.) But the ordnance seem too easy to get and your choices seem random.
Joining games/Starting with unbalanced teams: This feature kinda got me a little angry TBH. You either join a game with a current score of 10-400 or because you started with two less players, that score will soon be yours. Please fix this.
CAMPAIGN (Spoilers): This is my own personal opinion about the campaign.
Why did they change the Chiefs armor? I could see them doing it in Halo 5 but he was in a cyro sleep…That didn’t make any sense to me.
I know 343i wanted to expand on character development which I loved the idea of, but they kinda changed Chiefs personality more then developed it. I knew there was some sorta spark between him and Cortana, and I kinda liked the idea of seeing Chiefs soft side for awhile (although I woudn’t want him like that through out the rest of the series) but they kinda made him seem too sappy for my own liking. They could of gone about this much differently but with the same results of showing his soft side.
Last but certainly not least. And this one is also quite a rant so bare with me. But after completing my 2nd play-through so I could see the Legendary Ending (Spoilers) which is like 1 second longer (kinda disappointed me. All that work for an extra second…) They did the unthinkable…Took off his helmet and showed a brief clip of his face. I must admit I was rather angry at this 'cuz I loved the mystery of Chief. I wouldn’t of minded so much if you gotta see him unmasked at the end of the series, but that kinda REALLY ruined Master Chief for me. I was all “WDF!” and my friend was like “WHHHYYYY!” so that night we shared a corner to cry in.

Also one more question. I’m no expert on cyro sleeping, but if chief was out for 4 years, wouldn’t his hair have been longer? Or do cyro tubes negate that?
