IF BY CHANCE CORTANA COMES BACK TO LIFE
The trailer will probably have a lot of action scenes some points to the story line and then when its about to end it will bring you to some terminal or something to deal with the forrunners and it will flash with a bright light, the camera will come in close and youll see Cortana.
Or it will do the same thing but wont show her she will just say something like, “Chief”

Even if Cortana comes back, I doubt they’ll show her in the trailer. If they’re going to retrieve her, it would not be broadcast in the trailer.
Im more or less just saying it because if 343 really did just kill off a main character from halo they lost a big part of their fan bass because more “hardcore halo players” care about the story line and actually care about her.
I mean it can always just be like the Chief is sleeping dreaming of Cortana considering he was so close to her. 343 is trying to explain the human side of John and since he just lost someone/something he cared about so much he probably would be dreaming about her. There could be some hints in there as to what happened to her.
Then he wakes up from the dream and realizes they are under attack and goes into action.
