I just wanted to say 343, you did a great job on picking maps. I love them all. However, I feel some of these maps don’t quite fit in well with some gametypes/ should share other gametypes.
I will update this thread later with the names.
Garrotte , It seems a bit too small for a team based game. It would be good for an FFA moshpit type game.
Also, this other map(Simplex I believe, not lockout) it could also fit FFA.
I felt like sharing that. Good job 343. Keep it up!

Despairs sniper and rocket drops seem to be too frequent one time I picked up a sniper from a random drop then another spawn at the same location a second later other than that I say the forge test is great.
Garrotte would be great for FFA, as well as team doubles
Holdout would work great for FFA and Oddball as well as SWAT. I am somewhat iffy about Infinity Slayer… That depends on the players.
Simplex is good for the game modes it is in right now… Also possibly Oddball.
343 needs to take note from maps like these.

Played Garrotte CTF…way too small!
Garrotte is a great CTF map, if you have a good team that communicates. But isn’t that what we want? A map that promotes communication and teamwork! It would work well for FFA now that I think about it.
Simplex is an awesome map, GREAT CTF games!
Shutout would work well with Oddball. I think they need a railgun on BR tower as well.
Relay needs to be replaced with Dispatch, which is a GREAT CTF map!
Scythe is a little too Chaotic.

The only map I dont really care for is the one that came on the disk. But I have only played it a few times. The rest are great! I love the small one that brings the chaos back from the Halo 2 days. Great job on the picks 343!!!
i like the maps ive played so far, but im not at all into objective game types.
i very rarely play with a party and getting owned by a good team in KOTH with a team of unorganized randoms is zero fun.
i just wanna play some slayer and i keep getting out voted.
Why is everyone giving props to 343, its the communities playlist.
