I was non-stop asking every/anyone if there was gonna be a legendary/collectors edition on here,twitter, reddit etc. I was lucky enough to secure one but didn’t like how it wasn’t announced or anything. But above all that how do you think it stacks up against other legendary editions from past games? I personally think it’s pretty awesome but would have loved some sort of Chief statue/helmet but other than that I think it’s pretty cool.

If you’re referring to the one listed on Walmart a few days ago, i’ve seen some people say that it isn’t an official collectors edition, but more like a retail made bundle (some items within it have been sold separately beforehand i.e. the energy sword desk lamp). I’m not sure how true that might be, but maybe it explains the lack of advertising?

The energy sword desk lamp can be bought separately, it’s even on amazon for 60 dollars. collectors edition is cool but don’t really need it, already pre-ordered Digital copy as on series s.
With exactly a month to go until Halo: Infinite releases, and no product advertising from the official Halo account on social media channels, the “Collectors Edition” seen on WalMart is nothing more than just them throwing Halo items together in a bundle to make it look more appealing. Best Buy did the same thing with the Master Chief statue.
The “Collectors Edition” of the game looks incredibly cheap and seems to be mostly made up of items you would normally find in a Loot Crate.
It isn’t an offical collectors edition from MS or 343i
It’s a walmart exclusive bundle they’ve labeled as a legendary edition

I like the look of it and bit jealous in Australia we got no good editions which include cool gear.
honestly it didn’t appeal to me that much… It’s not even an official release of the 343, but a walmart jumble… a bottle opener, a lamp you can buy elsewhere, a few patches and two negligible lanyards… no, definitely no

Walmart made a bundle of products but all the things in it are already purchasable separately.
Nothing really struck me as “Do want”. Sadly it just seems like alot of clutter for my shelves.
I seen that sentiment from just about everyone responding, I don’t see why 343 wouldn’t denounce it as something that’s not official.
If it’s a case of Walmart in fact doing that, it’s actually kind of funny, like is that even legal? I mean it’s not like it’s just a bundle, to go and put a whole bunch of stuff together and call it a collector’s edition on behalf of another company all while that company hasn’t said a word about it? Hmm interesting 
Totally legal fine print said official Walmart collectors edition from what I’ve been told.
But if you had been on the merch store recently(this year) stuff would have looked familiar.
The Walmart one is terrible. The real collectors edition is the Series X console.

What you first said makes sense, what still doesn’t make sense is why 343 or even Microsoft for that matter would not want to be unlinked to it. With a game that’s this anticipated for fans who would want an official collectors/legendary edition you’d expect them to come out and definitively say “that’s not ours we don’t have one” or whatever

I don’t agree but at the same time as soon as I seen halo collector post it on Twitter I just went in and bought it without thinking oh well, atleast you didn’t have to waste your money like I did bud lmao
Didn’t mean to insult you. My bro linked the bundle to me and I was just immediately put off by the cheap little trinkets and then was shocked by the price tag. If you truly want it, keep it. If not, you can always cancel it.
