Thoughts of the new warzone map?

I think it’s a cool looking map. Nice and big. A good change from the repetitive 3 maps. But I don’t like how open it is. Vehicles are so vulnerable now. Not enough cover. Spartan lasers everytime a vehicle spawns. And bosses can be taken down from anywhere. Maybe I’m voicing to early. But seems to be a snipers paradise. Not so much a vehicles paradise. What are y’all thoughts?

That’s Warzone for you…the game type is heavily unbalanced due to the annoying REQ system. It probably would work better if Warzone had equal starts like Btb.

I don’t think reqs have anything to do with the map being unbalanced. I honestly don’t even know how your response relates to my statement. Lol. I stated this map doesn’t seem to favor vehicles. And you stated warzone is unbalanced due to reqs. And it should be like BTB with equal starts. But Warzone is equal. Both teams start with nothing. I think warzone is amazing. Almost flawless. And IMO holds up very VERY well against BTB. But this map isn’t as much fun as the others IMO. Anyways. Two different topics. I was just wondering how you liked the map. Not the game mode.

The design of the map is meant for you to choose a side such as left or right and obtain the garages of the selected path. This way you control one side and this allows you to push from that selected side into monument and then the second garage. However most of the games i played on the new map today always played out the same way. Each team would just rush the middle and the game would turn into a massive cluster–Yoink- which really takes away from the purpose of the maps design. I agree with you that vehicles are very vulnerable due to its circular design but i have seen that if you dominate one side without spreading too fin its fairly easy to push the corners with vehicles especially scorpions and ghosts.

I’ve only got to play it once today, it keeps giving me the other maps.

Lovin’ it :stuck_out_tongue: two wardens is kinda “eh” I would have liked to have seen a new boss and maybe even a boss that took a little finesse to kill. Like perhaps only damageable by a small spot on him that you have to snipe a lot to kill or something cool. Other than that I do like how there is no “Home base” I appreciate the mixup there.

The time I played it was cool, but it was really hard for my team to get themselves together. We lost, but I like how it focuses on vehicles now more then in the other maps. To bad the roads were a ghost town, no pun intended if you catch my drift :wink:

I haven’t even played on the map yet.
Is it the in the rotation for Assault?

I only had the energy to play 2 Warzone games and I didn’t get it :frowning:

I posted some ideas to freshen up warzone, particularly on the new map, in a post earlier. I feel they could do more to help with the emptiness of this level.
