(Thought) Should teambagging be reported in halo?

It seems that a lot of halo games are filled with toxic people that teambag so my thought was if your in online match should people that team bagged get reported/banned or is there another solution where you can just tell them to stop being rude.

Teabagging is classic but also toxic. Report it if it’s excessive, if not leave it be

No, absolutely not.

Imagine your hologram in Halo 4 getting banned for teabagging xD. “Kindly choose another ability”.

No it shouldn’t be reported. When did people get so soft? It’s just a game.

Did your teammate betray you or assist the other team in killing you? No? Then, team teabagging is fair game. Really not something that should be a reportable offense.

It’s not a question of being soft. I used to think nothing of it until it was explained to me that parents don’t want to explain to their children what tea-bagging is. Xbox live is rated E for everyone despite the games being rated above E for everyone. Just for the record I don’t care abut the kids and I only -Yoink!- friends in co op but Tea-bagging doesn’t bother me so I just ignore it.

I’m not quite sure that’s how the classification system works.

Granted, I’m not sure how the classification system works in general but I’m pretty sure that’s not it.

Probably should of been clearer on that it was just a example. I used to frequent the xbox.com forums and someone claimed it was abuse or harassing of a certain nature. I felt the claim was a far reach but it changed the way I view tea-bagging.

EDIT: This is how one person sees it as a reportable offense.

If teabagging gets you angry/upset then you really need to lighten up and not take gaming so seriously. Teabagging is silly and fun and its become a staple of halo.

Agreed.

Nope. That’s like removing the Magnum in a halo game. IT IS CLASSIC.

Never.

If getting tbagged bothers you enough to report someone, maybe you should rethink playing games online. In all the games I’ve played over my life, tbagging is one of the least toxic actions I’ve encountered

I don’t think so. It’s part of every game and I think you would get nowhere by reporting it. You just have to live with it

Teabagging just may have been invented in Halo. Definitely not a reportable offence IMO. While xbox live isn’t rated as it’s just a form of internet so to speak the Halo games themselves are rated MA or Teen so kids shouldn’t be playing it. If I were a parent and a kid asked why are they crouching on me I would simply say they are dancing on your dead body… :slightly_smiling_face:

Just to let you know Xbox live is rated E for everyone. What is not rated is the online interactions between people.

No. Teabagging is so classic in halo games that is cultural. I particularly don’t like to -Yoink!-, but I dont throw my controller on the wall if someones teabags me. We need stop to seeing offences in every act in this world.

Teabagging is definitely should not be a reportable offense. It’s not like somebody is hacking the game or harassing other players, because they know exactly what they’re doing, and they deserve to be punished. Teabagging, on the other hand, went from being a staple invention back in Halo CE to a part of FPS culture. It’s usually lighthearted, and if you’re genuinely getting upset by it, you’re probably taking the game too seriously.
