i don’t really care, i barely played on it because they’re not that great imo. not even worth more than $5, but hey, it’s your money so you can spend it in any way you want. but have fun playing it, i’m sure some people really enjoy those maps.

Indeed or play on them outside of the DLC playlist. Allso if you do get to play them outside of DLC when a player quits it’s most likely there wont be any DLC owners searching, meaning there wont be a player replacing quitters on DLC maps.

I’m glad you need other people to feel bad for you to feel good.
What you’re overlooking is that it’s fellow community members who are getting screwed over by Microsoft, who won’t admit they made an error, and instead choose to lie to their customers.
Anyone who got them for free got them just as legitimately as people who paid for them.
Why are you happy about this?
I think those who got it free, should be able to keep it.
This “trial” thing only came available after MS screwed up.
Therefor, it’s unfair to take it away from those who got it free from a MS screw up.
Also, it will drop the population in the Crimson DLC playlist by quite a large margin, then we’ll have to put up with the babies crying about “oh look halo population is dying again” blah blah.
And i’m not saying this because i got it free,
I happily paid 800MSP for them and frankly the map pack was worth every penny, they’re amazing maps.

This is not CoD, in order for the maps to pop up to be voted for all players in the lobby need to have the maps.

I still think that its terrible that the maps were given for free in the first place and watch i bet that people will still have them on their xbox and still be able to use them.

So how exactly are you being “screwed”? The end result is you paid nothing for nothing.

Not on XBL they won’t. It’s possible that they could use them offline in a custom game but that’s about it.
I’m one of the ones that received it for free.
I have already deleted it from my HDD after I found out I could get games in Matchmaking outside of the DLC playlists.
The maps are honestly just as garbage as most of the other halo 4 maps but at least I know how to set up on the other ones.
Maps aren’t fun to play on, harvest is meant for a 8v8, yada yada.

You’d know how to set up on the new ones after playing them for a bit. Bet you didn’t know how to setup on any of the maps when you first played Halo 4 with the exception of Ragnarok.
