Those giant red swords. Can we have that as a future REQ unlock? We already use the full Promethian arsenal, so adding another melee weapon wouldn’t be too drastic. The Knight’s sword wouldn’t lunge or ground pound but create shockwaves. The shockwaves would travel a relatively short distance (around 5 meters) to prevent it from being too ridiculous. The waves would be a two shot kill while an upclose melee would be a oneshot. Whaddya think?
I believe they’re called Hardlight Blades, and I would not have a problem with another melee weapon as long as it is unique compared to the others and has some form of checks and balances with another melee weapon. The shockwave idea seems plausible, however Knights don’t have that ability and it wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense if Spartans could when wielding the blade.

Given that you do wield their Hardlight Blade when you Assassinate a Knight, I wouldn’t put it past 343i to add that in.

Maybe it comes in the form of a powerup, but you activate in your palm and it becomes an extension of your arm.

Itd be sick if the sword constructed itself around your hand. Imagine the pieces attaching itself to you making you have a sword for an arm, that would look so badass
